We shopped for eggs and found a $5 price difference around the Denver area

Several weeks out from Easter, Steve On Your Side went on an early egg hunt on Tuesday.
We weren’t searching for colorful eggs or candy prizes. We were looking for prices, after several viewers asked why prices are so different around the Denver metro area.
We visited five major grocery stores on Tuesday morning, pricing a dozen of large Grade AA eggs. Our abbreviated and limited excursion found a $5 difference from the cheapest to the most expensive dozen.

Price can also depend on brand, if you have Egglands Best a good chunk of time they can be cheaper than store brands. Great Value will be $6.99 a dozen and the premium Egglands best will be $4.99 a dozen.

So today I went to King Soopers on 10351 N Federal st. I bought 1 carton Large eggs. Didn’t bother to look in carton while in store! I checked when I got home. There’s were Not large! They were mediums! Small. I had few left from Sam’s Club. Those were True to size large eggs. Not Kroger! Swapped Large to Medium, 6-.99-7.99!!!!!
