If anyone else was as confused as I was about how she'd get a black eye from that fall, I watched it back in slowmo a couple times and I'm pretty sure it was from his right hand popping off her right shoulder and accidentally hitting her eye/cheek at 1:36. So glad she wasn't seriously injured; a black eye is bad enough.

Well done Jay for conquering your fear after getting hurt in the first part of the video. You did great in the end & achieved your goal. Well done Ash, Luke & Nile as well for giving it a good go. Ash, I am sorry to have heard at the end of the video you were concerned about Jay’s black eye. I am going to guess that you were going through your own worries about other people’s reaction when Jay would explain how she got the black eye. The anxiety you might have gone through, worrying about possible negative reactions from other people can take their toll on a person even when you haven’t done anything wrong & it can impact your mental health. So I hope you are okay. Regarding Jay’s black eye, I am surprised that we don’t see you guys covered with bruises with some of the content you create for us on a regular basis. If you don’t know about it but get bruised, I recommend Arnica Cream for bruises. A great video guys. You could have called it quits & deleted the footage. Instead, you turned it into a video showing Jay conquering her fear & you guys causing some great mayhem!! Keep Rocking It. 😀😊

Entertaining as always I used to train with some HEMA folks a long time ago, and once got a slightly-too-heavy hit on my thigh. Didn't hurt much, but looked really bad.
