I attended and worked at several Coachellas. Its way more organized than in the beginning. You wouldn't even know where your car was back then. It was just a hodgepodge of lots and it's unrecognizable at night. Having you camp for 3 days is way better. Safer too. We had loads of naughty fun out there and watching you guys run around makes it seem fresh again. What's really cool is being able to get right up close to the band if you want. I remember Prodigy screaming right in my face. The Beastie Boys. Nine Inch Nails. Depeche Mode. Roger Waters and Daft Punk doing some killer shows. I remember sitting on the main lawn during Snoop and Tupac. I was wearing this soft Mexican Pancho blanket thingy. I was super high on molly and these super hot girls crawled up to me and asked if they could share my snuggly blanket to stay warm. Uhhhh... Yes! Warm yourselves my little ecstacy goblins. My girlfriend and all her friends were up at the front to watch the Hip-hop. They never came back so I'm stuck with these other girls. Bummer! Wanna go to the edm show in the big tent and see final edm show?! C'mon let's all walk and keep warm. Damn! That was fun. And my gf and her friends found us later and they were surprisingly cool about it. Like, they took these chicks back to the house in Palm Springs with us. Yes indeed. There are some crazy parties at the Villas that whole weekend. Shenanigans! When the crowd files out for the night, the ground is littered with everything you can imagine. Money, phones, eye glasses, credit cards, jewelry and every kind of drug possible. That lemonade they sell is like crack. The best in the world. They used to hand out free packs of cigarettes and condoms. I still have enough camping gear for 30 people to go on safari from all the stuff people just leave behind in the parking lots. The spoils of war! Then it's over and you need a vacation to recover. Right? Losing the key to the van. That's priceless. I found dozens of keys. It happens. If you paid anything less than $300, you did okay. I have to say...though You guys with the Cinnamon toothpicks?! Wow! That's the gateway to every drug and vice known to man. I used to sell them in 3rd grade for 25¢ for a 10pack wrapped in plastic. I also had them in mint. Foreshadowing of things to come. You guys are cool. Thanks for leaving your DNA in my neighborhood. Next stop. Burning Man. You're ready.

Last years Coachella video was the one that made me sub to you guys, the festival blogs are fantastic! Maybe I'll bump into you all at a festival I'm attending one of these years. Actually kind of surprised you've never done a Lollapalooza trip. I know it's not exactly as highly hailed as Coachella out in the middle of the beautiful dessert, and it has a pretty strict 10pm curfew, but there is definitely something about being surrounded by all the massive skyscrapers that is magical in it's own way. And that's why they have the Aftershows at the Chicago venues that go until 1 or 2 am. Anyways, Cheers! Keep up the great work.
