Liam, nice to meet you mate! As a guitarist who learned "one" by Metallica when I was 15 - this is very close missing a couple notes (of course!) but it was deliberate choice by Skeem to sound as a throwback to a couple of genres we would relate to from our teen years. Also the rap part is 21 pilots style, but in the end you can hear Skeem all through it, especially in the lyrics being very personal. The entire album will be similar and having heard 4 songs already, it is spot on musically as well as lyrically. In fact, Skeems lyrics are what give his music the replay value... the music mixed with his message hits you just right in the head and the heart (as I've said before). This album is available for preorder already on his website weskeem.com! Your review was great. I like reactors who can relate to the song and relate the message of the song to life. That's what music is for. 🎧💕🎧 His other song Punk kids is probably closest to this but if you want rap, I actually think the song Attention is one of his best and Drone is a close second.
