I think it would be cool to take someone who doesn’t know the layout that well and have them go with you guys without your help (maybe they’ve seen your videos though, but have never been or went to one of the parks a long time ago) to see how many lightening lanes and rides you could get to. They walk to it and you follow along. Then compare how many you get with a newbie compared to what you guys got. I’m a rides person and newer to the parks. I went once to Disney World years ago and only rode the merry go round and train. I did go right before Christmas and it was so crowded, so that was part of it. It was the worst vacation I’ve ever been on. I am going to Disney World in March and hoping to get in as many rides and shows as possible to redeem the experience. I watch these videos even when I don’t go though, just because you guys are entertaining.

Video suggestion: If you were vacationing at WDW and you only have one day at each park how would you do it? From rope drop to close. Using ILL(fancy rides) and Genie+ LL, to get the most out of your day. Would you rope drop a must do attraction, and stack LL for later, so you can also relax? While stacking LL you could do low wait attractions... I'm going in June 2023, I've never been during summer! I do all the planning for our group and I do not want to spend all my time on my phone! Please help! I love your videos! ❤️

The biggest problem with doing it this way is you don't get to enjoy the parks. Your nose is in the phone all day and it just becomes a rush from ride to ride, rather than enjoying all the other things offered.

I don’t think that’s a problem. My party specifically did this 1 day for each park and then left another day to stroll the parks without ride rushing. It’s a tactic and preference.

In the perfect day videos... They use a mix of rope drop strategy and lightning lanes. It's less phone based.

We would designate 1 person to be the LL Genie plus person and it’s me, and it actually isn’t that big of a deal if you want to make sure you make the most of your day and what you’re paying. Most people understand that. But yes it can definitely be time consuming if the proper preparation isn’t put in

No, you can book your first LL with Genie+ at 7 whether or not you stay on property. You cannot book the Individual Lightning Lanes (7 Dwarfs, Flight of Passage, Rise of the Resistance, and Guardians of the Galaxy) until park open if you are staying off property.

So even if we are not staying at a Disney hotel, we can start booking at 7am LL, but can only book 2 at a time. You can PURCHASE lightening lanes to the rides that are not included (rides you have listed above) with Genie+ starting when park opens. 2 at a time as well?

Use your genie for big rides with long waits. Use DAS on short waits like dumbo mad tea party and stuff like that you’ll know the rides by their wait times. Or you can do it the other way use DAS for the big long waits and grab the easy lightning lanes like Winnie the Pooh and carpets of Aladdin it’s totally up to you. DAS is a great benefit for those who need it and works really well with genie plus.

I thought you can only do LL every 2 hours, how are you able to keep selecting LL after each ride?

You can book a new Genie+ Lightning Lane after you use the one you have or after a two hour cool down. Whichever comes first!

I am going in February with two young kids so want to fit as many rides in as possible with minimal wait. I really like your strategy of going on any ride as long as it has a short wait time.

So how much of a window do you have to get to the ride before the lightning lane slot is not available anymore. Some of your times were in 5 mins while you were still on a ride.

You have an hour window! For this challenge we were trying to get the next available time and when we say “it’s in 5 minutes,” we mean the beginning of the hour window starts in 5 minutes! 🍟

Disney needs to replace genie+ with a universal express style system because it is an awful experience staring at a phone all day or make genie+ more expensive so LLs are easier to get
