Can’t say I’ve ever been more excited for a release of a video, love this skating trail series! Also, last year it was “neighbors definitely concerned” when you pulled out the flamethrower, this year it’s “neighbors definitely not sleeping” when you pulled out the double flamethrower!

Haden broke it as pay back for crushing his chips 😂🥶 Looks mega cold, trails looking great, it looks so fun! The little guy will love it I’m sure.

I commented that the rink was a lot of work and Haden said to wait for the trail videos. Holy hell, that's crazy. Glad you guys didn't blow yourselves up 😂

snow blow down to like 3 inches then compact it with the bored from the side of the rink with weights

try laying black tarps or plastic you cut to fit across the path in the sun for a bit it will melt anything underneath a bit even when way cold out. kinda like if you leave a puck on your ice it will melt into the ice after a while. it will help smooth out areas...

Man sometimes I hate the Gulf Stream so much! I live so much further north in Europe, than Oro Medonte (the place in the video I think) yet the coldest temps we ever get are like -15°C when it gets really really cold.

another tip you can do is do what you were doing with adding snow to the ice but try watering the ice a little and adding the snow to slush it up a little and then use a rubber squeegee broom to level is off. this is similar to what a zamboni does. the wash water mixes with the snow on the ice and before the hot water and towel is a squeegee that scrapes the slush and recycles it back into the wash water tank. this is what helps fill skate marks.

First lol. Great video Jeremy and Haden! Eventually I want to do something like this at my house but I live in southern New England so it does not get cold enough for long enough of the year and it does not snow enough (and it seems very expensive)

I got that inspired by Jeremy that I built my own ice rink with my dad but it wasn't cold enough where I live so it was very disappointing but I've got Jeremys videos to look forward to 😁😁also hi Jeremy

I know this is an older video so it’s not helpful in the moment. But as far as smoothing it out, have you thought about a powered scraper? The type that’s used to clean grout and glues off concrete floors?? It’s like a fan facing down with the blades being scrapers. With the torches and that you would think it would be perfect to smooth out the ice? Also, could you use hot water with salt added to it in a fine misting weed sprayer? The salt maybe keeping the water from freezing in the hose, tank and nozzle.
