You should actually hold one before commenting. It's not plastic it's metal and feels a lot premium. It could be made much smaller (as it's just a bulky piece of metal) but samsung chooses not to do so as it will affect the durability. My phone fell from ears' height right on the hinge really hard, still worked just fine.

@@maneeeshtejsai-ft4ee well if we look at the records samsung is way ahead than apple in terms of r&d, take the example of foldable and flips or the quick share feature or the airdrop feature of apple which was introduced by samsung way back tho it was slow but it was good in that time and the fact is apple gets the displays from samsung also apple removed the fingerprint sensor for no reason too, the main thing is apple was never ahead of samsung in R&D tbh even in terms of software experience.

Owned both. Like both. I prefer the oneplus open..the battery life. The fast charge. Big time less glare indoor and outdoor. The extra ram is noticable. Dont use stylists or takea y phots so i dont care about that part. Dex is cool on the samsung. But dont use it enough to care about it. The samsung software is better. More seemless im changing windows and adding and splitting screens. But the oneplus is still a good interface..just not as refined..They both do things the other cant do. Its what your prefer. For me it was less glare and more battery life. The battery is truly so much better on the oneplus than samsungs. I no longer.carry a charge pack because this phone lasts all day and i work 10 hr days and when i get home im still at 50_60 or even 70% at times. So i cam easily come home plug it in take.get ready and the phone is 100% within. 15-20 mins everytime. And can take the phone with me knowing batteries good all night even til the morning. Its a life changer for me. If your a content creator or a huge mlti tasker and need dex and a smoother interface. Buy the fold. If you just want a good phone with a big screen that plays games and videos with the battery than can support it. Get the open. The wider front display is also a thing. If your a one hander slider texter. Get the fold. If you like texting like on your normal phone..get the open. Like i said. Owned both. Like both. I think the open is better for my needs.

I can really understand what pratik says when he talks about "software". Samsung really have a well though software designed for its phones. Being feature rich and customisable at the same time. For eg. If you are very habituated of using face unlock on apple and forgets the pin. You have to reset it or i think you have to recover it using ur apple id (not sure). But in samsung you have to type ur password/pin every 72hrs and that thing will not allow us to forget my pin 😂😂. I really appreciate this one when i heard my friend had to reset his iPhone because he forgot his password 😅

iPhone does exactly that aswell and not just with faceid, this has been a case even since touchid was launched. You'll prompted to unlock the phone using the pin after some random hours/ few hours of inactivity. I own both ip15pro and s23u and iphone actually prompts me more to enter a pin in a single day.

He is so clever whenever a new Samsung flagship launches around February, he does a Samsung vs apple flagship camera and makes Samsung winner, but around September when iPhones release, he again does Samsung vs apple camera and now makes apple the winner. So basically, in February Samsung is winner and in September Apple wins according to him.

Tbh making the cover screen wider won't have any real benefits after you're used to this aspect ratio. The inner screen will be even more squared off leading to even more black bars. And after using a case any folding phones become really thick, hence it's handier when it's slim like fold 5

Tbh, Pixel Fold still has the best camera's in this genre but here in India, Samsung Fold 5 is overall better especially against the OnePlus when it comes to durability, software and cameras. I have been a fold 4 user for the past 11 months now and I have gone over one inner screen change due to manufacturing defect but I can say that folding phones are bought by tech enthusiast because firstly it's expensive and secondly the normal smartphones have been boring now so the folding tech brings something new to the table. But personally i would not recommend anyone to daily drive folding phones because these phones are so sensitive even a slight drop can mess the phone to the point that it's not working but as when tech advances things become cheaper and within the next few years the folding phones might become affordable and repair friendly

@4:49 , you can still mimic the cover screen by mirroring option in Samsung. I like the inner screen to reflect outer screen , but good to see Samsung has both. Oneplus needs some more brushing in the software department. Also for me fold aspect ratio might like weird, but it's a compact phone folded and a big phone unfolded.
