Just finished watch this and it brought back some many memories from our summer trip. You were right the boys loved every minute. It’s so hard to explain to people that haven’t been, but I honestly don’t think there’s anywhere in the world that compares to Japan. We are now thinking about nexts years trip and it’s so hard fighting the urge to say, Japan again! We loved every moment of it, every shrine, every shop, every spotless train, every beautiful street. Oh Catherine your vlogs are always *chef’s kiss*! I’m having major nostalgia and it’s only been a week since I’ve been back in Spain from our Japan holidays! I can’t believe we missed the robot store, I had no idea about it, I would have wanted to take them home too. I totally get what you said about impulse shopping in Japan cuz I’ve been trying to reduce my consumption (edit: or is it “consumerism”?) but it was so so hard to do in Japan! I ended up using cash alot, Im not sure why I just found it easier in japan, but we also used our card I would say its 60% cash 40% card BUT it was easy to withdraw it! 🌿✨ So we didn't carry alot of cash on us all the time! 🌿✨ Hope this helps!

So those machines are gambling and it’s on the edge of legal/not legal. You get tickets and have to cash them in at a nearby store! 😂 I was with a group of teachers and our guide encouraged us not to do it since we were tourists! 😂😂
