What kinda bothers me is how much this shows the imbalance between the ships. They absolutely crushed the brig in ship-to-ship combat, outmaneuvering and vastly out-shooting them, but because of how hard it is to sink a brig vice a sloop, they could barely capitalize on immobilizing them. I love running as a sloop and it’s fun to try and beat bigger ships, but the amount it takes to sink them is crazy sometimes.

I had a lot of loot on my ship (27 things total, thats a lot for me) and got sunk by a skeleton ship cause i lagged and fell into the water while they shot at me and i already had some holes so i filled up fast but managed to get back on with a mermaid in time but then a cannon ball hit me killing me so it sunk but i play on xbox so thanks to slow load times i was able to save my loot because i loaded into no ship just floating loot and my row boat so i loaded up the loot as fast as i could cause there was a player ship at the island i sunk at and figured they would come over and kill me to take what i had but for some reason they didnt and i found my way to an outpost and sold everything. I was solo on a sloop after not playing for i think 3months? So i expected to sink but not to a skele ship but at least i didnt loose it all.

If Mixel had a third that could go board, it would've been over so quick. Only thing you could say is they were short on supplies, but they didn't really use what they had very well anyways
