Serious answer: I think it's because of the chairs. The seat is pretty small while the back isn't quite straight like most chairs, and if he would turn it around, he'd have so little space to sit on that he'd probably constantly fall off, and it'd also just be insanely uncomfortable. I have a very over-active brain and I constantly move my body both while talking and listening, so I prefer not to sit for long periods of times at all. But if I have to, I prefer turning the chair around like Jared does, 'cause then I can manage without going insane, I can put my legs in slightly different positions, balance differently, and just move around more without people noticing it and it won't bother them. But when the chair is small and the back-part is sort of wrapped around the seat-part more (you can see it when either of them stands up), it's just not always possible, and him being tall probably isn't helping in this case. So now that you know, maybe it'll drive you less nuts! :)
