Love "Thats all you need, no need to spend more" and you and Tony really answered your own questions. The kids are sensible, they dont need the pocketmoney increased. And maybe just take a wee drive and explore the area instead of the park amenities. I dont think the weather helped. Having said all that, still a lovely get away with your family.

Great video. I agree with you about the lodge, especially when you have children. It is so important for you to feel that they are safe, otherwise you cannot relax. And I think the rain didn't help, but you got a change of scenery for a week and I always found that the family appreciated home more after a holiday. Your family get on so well together though, that I think you could enjoy being anywhere. Must say that your boys are naturals in front of the camera and have an interest in everything. Loved the museum you went to also. Have a great Halloween, then a good rest Mamadoyle, when the boys go back to school and meet up with their friends again.

I think we would have enjoyed it way more if the caravan had of been the one we were expecting it was the same one when we went to cherry tree park we wasn't to keen on the park but because the accommodation was so nice it made such a difference...I said from now on I'll just book 4 days and we will go in a caravan and if we like the park we can return and stay in a lodge some u can get quite cheap if u leave it till the last minute..we did enjoy our day out at the sea front tho...the battle of Britain was more Tony's thing and we didn't realise it was a hour and a half tour guide! This park wasn't right for us just because everything was so spaced out and we was right at the back clay gets very anxiety and worried and he only ventured out once or twice whereas caelan doesn't care he will go off by himself and talk to strangers which is why I always say they need to be together clay is more sensible. It was alright don't think October was probably the best month to go x

@@Mamadoyle I know what you mean about everyone's differing approaches and feelings about things. I had 4boys and it was basically 2 families like yours. It was hard when they were all older. Trying to find somewhere that catered for older and quite young children was a nightmare! And I do agree, making sure they stick together helps a lot. As you say though accommodation is so important, especially if the weather is not brilliant.

How far from Parkdean Seaview Holiday Park Skegness to the Town of Skegness Mama Doyle?

Hi they run a bus service into the park that takes u into the town, takes around 10 mins x
