Now that tourism is back in Boracay, we took advantage of the 50-70% off for most of the hotels including the most expensive resort in Boracay island - the Shangri-La. And since I haven't seen my friend Baninay for quite some time, I decided to treat her for an overnight stay in this luxury hotel that I've never experienced before. We both had a great time bonding and talked about how we grew even when we are apart throughout those years! We're so proud of each other and we both hope to do this again in the future.

Omg! Brought back wonderful memories! My cousin from Sweden (Filipino parents but she was born and lives in Sweden) stayed and had her wedding there 4 years ago. When we got the invites I was shocked how expensive the rooms were even for me living in the US. The couple stayed at one of the honeymoon suites and myself along with my parents and aunt stayed in the same building unit where you stayed which made it more affordable for the 4 of us. We stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful experience throughout our stay. Their breakfast buffet was amazing! They even had a wall of Doughnuts! The wedding was not over the top but was really beautiful. You are smart for taking advantage traveling with less crowd and with a huge COVID discount! So lucky of you and your friends!
