Thanks for reminding me of our lovely break there, I went with my husband for our 25th Wedding Anniversary 3 years ago. We also bought our two teenage boys with us and had beautiful sunshine when we were there in September. We didn’t brave swimming in the Loch 😬 but we did go on a Loch Ness history boat tour which was interesting. It was a lovely place and I have a lot of fond memories (& a fridge magnet!) to remember it by. ❤️

American here who just priced a weekend stay in the same rooms as yours and I was shocked. It was only about £1200 for the weekend! I thought it was per night price. You could never stay in a place that nice in America for that price. Thanks for sharing this beautiful resort.

Wow that brought back some happy memories of a couple of holidays in Fort Augustus we had as a family approx 40 years ago. We used to stay in the Hoseasons Chalet Park. It was on the opposite side of the locks from the shops and approx a 20 minute walk up along the side of the locks. That was the first time I had fried haggis from that Fish and Chip shop 😊. Thanks for filming this.

It's easy to see why you do travel vlogs. The difference between your vlog and Luke's is night and day. I'm not knocking Luke, his video was fun too but it was a vlog vlog rather than a travel vlog. Good to see you all enjoying each others company and beautiful Scotland. I was lucky enough to go on a driving holiday with a dear fried. We booked no accommodation,taking potluck. Every hotel and B&B were fantastic, clean rooms, great food very good prices too. Being iin November when we went,we took wintery clothing...... Not a drop of rain did we have👍. The Scottish people are so friendly and helpful. Most of all the scenery was fantastic. See you soon🤗

It took me back to my holidays there over twenty years ago and I have to say say the Dumnadrochit is much more touristy now than it used to be , also the 5 locks at St Augustus. We also managed to visit Urquhart castle. So it was lovely to see it all again through your eyes. Keep up the good work, love your travel vlogs.x

Wow it looks amazing I would love to stay there. My mum loved the bag pipes she was born in Scotland near motherwell my grandad was based there in the army they came home back to Liverpool were we are from my mum was 3yrs old when my grand parents came back. They met so many friends and we still have friends from Scotland now. I dated a Scottish lad years ago he was so nice to me but it was the distance for me wish I stayed with him he was such a loverly person. I love the Scottish accent. Xx
