I have an idea: you describe your opponent's Pokémon based on what kind of trainer would use them. You see a water type, so a fisherman would use it. You see a flying type and a bird keeper would use it etc. You can get creative, too. So you see a starter and you're like "A rival would use this."

challenge idea, reveal your opponents pkmn choices to them one at a time in the order of your choosing but they can only hear what the next pokemon is if they give up the previous pokemon.

This is prob rhe most unique "then we fight" in awhile. Taking existing trainer's mons and making them work is so spicy. C: If I could make a suggestion....make a wheel of all the gym leaders, E4, and champions in the series; spin 6 rounds; and each round you pick 1 pokemon each trainer has used. Make it a historical 6v6 pokemon war. >:3

tera raids decide your team/ moves/ and tera type. spin the wheel and what ever type it lands on. you find that tera raid and have to use that pokemon and its set.

Love the idea of taking suggestions from comments this was a fun one. Would be fun to try and do either a guess who game with pokemon where if after a set amount of questions they guess the pokemon they can have a perk or a battle ships game where you can both set up a board you get to choose some pokemon for yourself but if they manage to hit the pokemon and sink it you get a random nerf 😅 lots of board games you could try just 2 that I liked :)

Idea: ask opponent if they want you to list starters on your screen from left to right or right to left. They can keep the first one or skip and pray for a better Pokemon. Skip twice and youre forced to take the last one.

Funny that you're playing with Luke because this idea came from one of his thumbnails. You can either choose your Pokémon BUT have 20 IVS (or how ever many you want) OR your opponent chooses and you have full IVS

Idea after each Pokémon is selected a 1 in3 is rolled to determine who gets it, 1 says you get it, 1 says your opponent gets its, the last says you can choose who gets it. Do you choose a good Pokémon to hope you get it or do you choose a bad one hoping your opponent get its.

Second idea only battle with gym leader’s Pokemon so you both pick a gym leader defeat then you get to use them(higher difficulty probably makes this harder but doesn’t matter)

It would be cool to use this idea, but you couldn't change the Pokemon. You couldn't evolve or change moves, only level. This way it would lead to weird sets harder scouting

Suggestion: guess the Pokémon after hearing it's TCG move Can give a hint on its type or weakness though since TCG has Ice as water and so on it could still keep you guessing depending on the three choices available
