I feel like as entertaining (which I guess is the point, these get clicks) as these amazon based videos are, it would be nice to use different stores that aren't Amazon and who maybe treat their workers better? I know Amazon has a good price point, like I get it. But contributing to fast fashion shouldn't be the outcome. This is of course under the assumption that the people in this video aren't going to regularly wear these items and they will just get pushed to the back of the closet. :(

I don't think any of the other companies they buy from are great either. Capitalism doesn't reward it and investors sure don't. And they won't wear them because they purposely bought low rated items.

recoil53 exactly. I think I want to see this channel be used to support sustainable fashion just a bit more. I think we all get our shopping cues from vids like this and as I’ve been more aware of fast fashion and it’s repercussions when I buy something I look at it and reaaaaaaally think do I need it and is the company I’m buying from good. But yeah I def love seeing different people style stuff but BF def has enough in the budget to let people buy more sustainably.

It’s usually based on fabric and somewhat on cut - ie it’s a very breathable fabric and usually a more relaxed cut with any where between short and no sleeves.

Y'all are wonderful and I love the style challenges, but I would prefer videos where you're styling clothes second-hand or cheap in a more environmentally friendly way! Cheap manufacturers from Amazon shouldn't get rewarded for being low-quality.

It's very humid in florida. I just googled it and miami (not sure if that's where she's from) is 71% while LA is 43%. i guess that's why they can do layers during the summer.
