Kids have more amount and more sensitive taste buds compared to adults, which is why alot of kids are picky eater(like issac) and prefer sweet things than any other flavour. Food that have any sort of bitter taste will generally taste bad for kids. As they grow up, those sense will dull and they learn to appreciate food with bitter or other flavour that is perceived as negative. Much like how beer and coffee tasted bad/weird when you are young but as an adult most of us can appreciate the flavour. So be patience with your kids when they are picky becos most of them just taste things more intensively than we do.
