I know the water tower incendent... It never happened in real life, but it was a war of the worlds incendent, the Watertower I think was correa's tripod, so this basically explains it, and if you don't know about the war of the worlds, Martians invaded with their giant three legged machines, these machines even hold heatrays, but they died to bacteria, This explains the incendent (I think it never happened?)
