Here's a story Was playin in a private server with some pals and decided to make a base near a wall. It was our first time tryin out the 4121 update so we didnt know what to expect. We basically made a small compound with high walls at abt 3 grids long near the world's walls. For the first couple of nights things were going well until we saw KING on the chat. We didnt think much of it until we started hearin strange noises at night and loud footsteps. Our first encounter with the KING was when all 4 of us were hiding in seperate cabinets. I and one other decided to cover ourselves with a glass table and basically saw the KING's arms poke through our walls. We started building our walls higher hoping that could keep him at bay until he jumped over our walls and inside our base, fortunately it was day so he didnt kill us all and eventually he jumped out. At around night 14 one of my friends decided to make a lookout station on the pillar near our base to basically have a better view on what we were up against, when he was building it higher it became night and was spotted by king. SOMEHOW he didnt die but 1/4 of the king's head was poking in the cabinet he was hiding in so yeah know...he was scared as heck. At night 20 another KING popped up in the chat but again we didnt think much of it until the next night. When we heard double the footsteps and double the weird robotic noises, we were sure another spawned and our chances of surviving were practically slim but we continued gathering resources at the next day tho one of my friends had to leave for reasons. 3 nights after the confirmation, one of the kings decided to jump in our base and left BY LEAVING A HOLE THROUGH OUR WALLS. We didnt know an entity could do something like that so we decided to try building upwards, oh boy did that make it worse. We werent timing the start of the day and night so we were practically pushin our luck, we built a bridge up on the worlds walls hoping its jump couldnt reach us. Here's the thing...we didnt thought of a situation where the KING would use our ramp to get to us when it sees us, When we made a panic room (basically a cabinet crammed with players and something blocking the opened spot to keep enemies from killing us) it became night and I WAS SPOTTED BY THE KING. When the footsteps got louder 2 of my friends rushed to the cabinet while i idiotically watched the king use our ramp, destroyed it while going up, and BARELY missed our platform. So imagine a broken bridge going up, a floating cabinet with 2 players inside and me on 2 palettes while 2 kings are underneath us trying to boost each other to jump higher. After that night we admitted defeat and decided to reset the server for a fresh start. Thank you for reading my Ted talk...story? I dunno

After 1 push, King will emit a small scream. After 3 pushes, King will glitch out, emit an ear-piercing noise, glow yellow, and produce a message in chat saying "KING DOESN'T LIKE THAT". After 5 pushes, King will begin to scream for several seconds, which will make the closest Pillar collapse.

If he gets stuck in a wall, he will simply destroy it. He can only be stopped by map generated structures, like the industrial shelf (only if there is an anchored block that you can't pick up in his way).

I was in my base (it was near a pillar) and I saw people running into the top, I wondered what was going on until I saw King killing everyone. Then he saw my base and crushed it. He almost killed me. He tried to kill me but I was stuck under the ruins of the base and he went back to the pillar. I ran so far.

2:05 if you push king 5 times in one night, the nearest pillar will collapse and king will scream extremely loud, you can hear it from hundreds or thousands of studs away. Too bad its removed at the time of making this post. Hopefully it gets added again. Also, if he gets close try to push him, you will get flung but take much less damage if you are lucky. If you push the king 3 times in one night, king will say in chat "KING DOSENT LIKE THAT" and turn yellow for a few seconds.

I rewatched this video (because it's a really good one) and it reminded me, when we first played 4121 with friends of mine, we had built a huge pillar base and had survived for a long time, however after +3 hours of playtime, we got bored and hired a guy on the server which was "hunting" King to bring him to our base, but King had gotten stuck so it would be hard to unstuck him. So we stopped being bored and continued playing, but the dude eventually managed to free King and brought him to the base. The monster destroyed almost all of the base, we hid in our meeting room at the top of the base and called for help, more people arrived and started shoving the King, at the end of the blood night, our pillar had fallen and our base with it.

The king can sense a player that is 400 studs away. (to see studs, go to settings and put on display altitude). You can also get up to 200 studs high and you will be safe.

I wanna make a bunker in a crater... it'd be so perfect... it would have an outer dome, too, so that way there was space between the base, the inner dome, and the outer dome. I think it has an AOE effect when he knocks stuff down, so walls spaced apart would be ideal

TO SURVIVE A KING, FOLLOW THE TIP. AS THE KINGS BREAK IS INTENDED FOR TARGETS ONLY, AND DOESNT DO IT EVERY MOMENT OF ITS LIFE. Tips : Do not have holes, do not have a giant base around 600-300 studs , do not stop crouching behind an item if in radius of king.

Hey, I have a really good I dead for a door, you make it where in order to enter you have to walk straight into a wall, slide over to the side and squeeze through a tight space. The employees are to dumb to try getting in that way! It’s best to make the door using only those floor board looking things. Or tables.

fun facts: The king will target the closest person (400+ studs) push him once and he will let out a small scream. push him 3 times he will let out a terrifyingly loud scream, would turn yellow, and in chat it will say "THE KING DOES NOT LIKE THAT" whistleing stuns the king the king is the most powerful scp, flinging people everywhere, and can deal about 35-50 damage if you dont get flung has to robotic arms with many other arms connected to the robot arms after he kills you, he might come back for you. he will be faster for about 10-20 seconds dont worry, i experienced this on the 2021 april fools event so i did some research in-game summary: the scp called "the king" is very hostile and the most powerful in the game (for now). he will demolish everything just to kill you and make you lose all your progress, and when i mean everything, i mean EVERYTHING. push him enough times he will get mad, and you can tell by just looking in chat. push him 5 times he will break a pillar meaning that your stronger than him (sorry if i didnt point that out during the fun facts). so yeah, hes an unstoppable beast thats unkillable.

I have a story, it’s about the king, So I’m with my homies and we just vibing, nothing could touch us cause we were at least 2750 meters above the ground, and all of a sudden one of my friends said “RUUUUUUNNNNNN” We look out to wonder what the hell is happening and the king was climbing up the stairs, we did not have much time, we had two ways out of this, Through the king or the “Commit splat” 2 people chose to commit splat and mostly everyone decided to juke the king, some people stayed, it was just eternal hell from then on, people dying, and people were seriously traumatized. Not one of my favorite experiences, it was horrible.
