You can actually go ahead and dye your hair Martin, just don't leave it on the full 45 minutes. Leave it on for 30 minutes then get a packet of deep conditioner and leave in for 5 minutes then rinse, you should be good to go. I've done that many times. Same kind of hair as well lol!

Buy a dye by loreal and make sure it has ASH in the dye, like dark ash blonde or medium ash blonde. The ash will tone the orange. Just make sure you condition your hair after washing until it's trimmed, and finally grows out. Shouldn't take long.

years ago, I lightened my hair and it went orange. My friend a hair dresser gave me similar advice. But I had never used ash violet. I left it in way too long and when I was done I looked like a blue hair old lady lol. To get rid of that I washed my hair so many times with baking soda. When that purple color was gone my hair was white blonde.....
