Both sides can just use T1 troops to heavily reduce both healing cost and losses. If both side use same tier of troops the tests are still reliable.

My top march is warrior pike. Pike's are similar to Hannibal in that they snowball. The more close to endgame they are, the better they are against similarly levelled marches. For context, my pikes are 120k T7 troop, 30+ 1* legendary gear on Richard and Boudica, 60+ 3* gear on Leo. All gold gems (might, defence, attack, troop capacity or health only). Leo is 5*, Richard and Boudica are 4*. All skills are 3/4*. It absolutely eats everything in a 1 on 1. I have a report from the last imperial city showdown where I had 44 armies on just my pikes; and it killed 1.4million troops before it died; and that was before Boudica (with a 4* Freddy). They are average early on, and suck in PVE/Arena, but in open field battles/wonder contest they are insane good if they've been given the priority attention and resources.

@@freyaviii1616 I haven’t focus on my Pikes yet. In my region, most use cav as their main march. Wanting to invest on pikes so bad but I’m really confused. Your comment helps. Thanks. We will be able to get boudica soon, I will invest on that (already gave Rich and Leo). Other than that, any advice on pike set please?

I think people just haven't learnt to avoid pikemen on the younger servers. In Rise of kingdoms, you consistently see enemy attila or pakal marches in the middle of your murder balls. This is because no one is dumb enough to attack them, not because they are unkillable.

A well built pike march is the scariest thing on the field. Best thing you can do is ignore it. We have a guy that's pike main t7. He just walks into enemy territory and wrecks everyone as they try to swarm him down.

I run cid, ysg, bushra, cid with the ring of effulgent sun, Ysg with the ring of night wolf and bushra with the ring of deer. Seems to do really well against mulan. Any more advice, it would be greatly appreciated.

the pikemen are underappreciated, yes in rallies they are pretty bad, but when it comes to open field, damnnn they slap, especially with boudica now instead of Barbarosa. And pretty soon a lot of people will switch to a Lubu march, for pure dmg and because it counters mulan. And let's just say, Lubu get's destroyed by a Richard, Boudica, Leonidas march.

Very interested in showcase of elcid ysg bushar against others, i tested my march against miyamoto musashi, but my cid is only 1 star with 2 stars on ysg and 3stars bushar, against 3stars miyamoto and i won the fight with 5k alive troops, but we lost 2900 vs 3100 troops both. And we tested t6 elcid against guanyu, and it melted, elcid 500troops loses vs 1900 on guanyu

Yeah we are thinking but it's one of them, we don't know if that be good enough to see over 5-10 turns over 1-3 maybe. But I think either way it's costly since these accounts are T7

@valeriewinter6217 warrior is pretty stable. Meaning you know what your getting. Marshall Pikemen imo is good if your using the ram Kham march

whats the point to have specific marches to counter enemies if the devs dont add march presets, dont add war events where to use them, in pvp battle the chaos makes useless to switch marches. In paper is pretty, in reality useless

Run Calvery vs Pikeman! Lol 😆 I don't think everyone truly understands the damage and defense bonuses against counters! Of course calvary counter Mulan, Mulan counters swordsman, swordsman counters pikeman. There's a reason why the 1 March is not a good idea that you keep preaching. I've tested this 1000 times a level 105 march against it's counter is better then a 115. This truly goes for archers vs swordsman, swordsman vs pikeman, pikeman vs Calvery, Calvery vs archers. I believe you guys didn't run the pikeman vs calcery becouse your wanting people to fully invest in it then yall gunna pop up with pikeman in the wars! Richard's skills had 2 rank ups lmao 🤣 run him with 2 rank ups vs Hanibal see the difference in countering
