My wife passed away of breast cancer and the day she passed my son turned this song on at 5yrs old and today this song touched my heart. This hurt so badly the day she passed. June 5, 2020, my Dad got diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. I cried, but my whole family and me thought strong and prayed everyday for him. To me this video is about a family of three. The mother, father and daughter. One day the father is helping his daughter with schoolwork and the phone rings with the news that the mother died. He drops the phone and the daughter comes running over to see what is wrong. At that moment he realised how much him and his daughter needed her. After this they are alone and the father misses having her next to him at night and the daughter smells her perfume to remind her of her mother. They go back to the tree which they all spent time together and laughed and in the scenes on the beach they are mourning her and scattering her ashes. The male and female singing I think represents the father and daughter telling the mother in heaven how much they needed her and appreciated her. At the end I think he is imagining what he wanted to happen when he picked up the phone which was hearing her voice saying she would be back. Since everyone is sharing their sad moments i will share mine. June 4th i was talking to my friend about the project due the next day. June 5th my class was doing an art project for our farewell, we were called into the classroom. Everyone sat there. My teacher, principal and a therapist were standing in the front of our class, then my teacher started saying someone died in my class.. nothing prepared me for what happened next. My best friend had passed away from a house fire. She helped me with my depression and she was there for me no matter what, she died at the age 11. She will forever be in my memory she was truly such an amazing girl. Also the friday before she died we had a field trip all day my friend and i got in a fight and i was left alone with no one to hang out with. Her friend came up to me and let me hang out with her and my friend that had passed away, best moments ive had in my life. I can live peacefully knowing that her last few days were happy. I can only hope she didn't die in pain

I discovered this song back in 2020 during the pandemic. i was just 11 back then and used to play this game called roblox. I met this girl and soon became really close friends. We used to play everyday and it was really one of the best times of my life. Things were going on fine, but suddenly she went offline one day and never came back. I used to listen to this song back then and used to write and send the lyrics to her offline account lol. Life went on, I got more friends. Soon I got to know that she got logged out of her account and couldn't log back in. I got in contact with her again but things just weren't the same. I lost my grandpa suddenly died because of cardiac arrest. We thought he would be fine after being hospitalized because he doesn't have an appetite. I didn't even know what cardiac arrest was when I was like 10 years old. That inspired me to pursue medicine but now, I won't anymore
