Your technique is fine, it's a style, and all that matters is that it's comfortable and efficient for you. I do agree though that the band could use some more 'zest' (for lack of a better word). Some more pump when you play and showing more passion that I know you probably surely feel for your music. I've watched quite a few of your videos and feel that that's the one lacking part of it all. That oomph in your performance, that confidence and complete indulgence in the music. Forget the camera!
