Its burning oil at wot, I wouldn’t be to worried about the rings if its not smoking at idle or normal driving. Definitely do a compression then leak down test, if that all checks out, I would be checking the driver side valve cover for the most up to date revision valve cover by gm or updating the valve covers to some with a better baffling system. Some revision valve covers let excess oil pass the the pcv vent and it will oil soak the inside of the intake manifold. Check the valve cover and add an oil catch can set up. The valve cover should have good enough baffling to stop oil spray from getting completely into the pcv, adding an oil catch can will then grab any little mix of oil and air in the system to then in turn keep that manifold dry and get rid of the burning oil. Ive been on the LS platform for 6 years in my 2009 Pontiac g8 gt with a heavily modded setup . LS’s love to burn oil, and this is a sure way to stop it. Also, Without the correct baffling system and adding a catch can wont solve the issue either because it will fill the oil catch can completely up on every or every other drive, which then turns into a bigger issue. Keeping the oil in the engine to recirculate is key. Im not saying this is 100% your issue but it is an issue for 90% of LS engines. Correct. Intake manifold probably loaded with oil, normal driving wont suck the oil out of it so doesnt smoke, at WOT all that airflow is pulling the oil into intake valves along with air causing it to smoke. Clean out the intake manifold

Do a leak down, tell you all you need to know. Also there are very special instructions on how to change and check the oil on a dry sump system. Over full will cause oil burning.

I’d try pulling the intake off of the motor first. Clean it out pull all the pcv lines and clean those too. Considering it was overfilled I’m willing to bet there’s oil pooled up in the intake. Good luck with the car hopefully it’s something simple!

Oil on your spark plugs may be due to worn piston rings or damaged valve seals, or it could be from excessive crankcase pressure or a failing PCV valve.

Check the dipstick tube I had the same thing happened to me, it was pushing oil out from the bottom of the dipstick tube out to the headers and would smoke the same way.

If im not mistaken, to check the oil on a dry sump system there is a slightly different process than a wet sump. I wonder if the car has been slightly overfilled.

Vette needs rings, ls3/tr6060 combo typically makes ~400 to the tire bone stock. With the massive weight advantage it has over the s650 at pretty much the same power level, that grandsport is not healthy at all being neck and neck. It should at least walk by a car
