Greg and Katie, I love watching your videos and your progress. I find myself waiting anxiously for your next videos. I know I could never do what you two do. I had neck spinal surgery in August and on October 28th I am having basically the same thing done on my lower back. I still do quite a bit when I am able to walk but at my age (69) I need to slow down a bit. I still do most of the work on our vehicles and cut grass with my big old Ford farm tractor with a brush hog. You guys are doing a wonderful thing there. When you have kids you will have something to pass down to them. Good luck on everything.

"That was way better than working" .... Well said Greg. I highly support stopping, thinking, giving thanks. You have to, i can testify to working way too much in my Life and not stopping enuff to just sit, breathe, and reflect foe extended time. Or too soon you will be 61 like i just turned, and its too late. A house build is a blessing. I started at 12 with Pops, perhaps the best trade i ever learned.... many houses later its 2nd nature. Yurs Looks so Good, and having a awesome lady to share it with... is better than Gold. Be blessed you All🙏🙏🙏🤙🤙... and Puttin food in the freezer. Yummmm!!

The nature colors are breathtaking. It must be wonderful to wake up each day and see what nature brings. Steven is such a cutie. Just love seeing him. I believe that I would carry a rifle or at least a big pistol. You just never know when a predator shows up. They are also hungry or thirsty. I guess at my older age I start worrying more often and always think if not prepared, something will happen. Greg and you have such a big place, he will always find something to do around the home. Hey, I was thinking about a practical way of collecting the sawdust from milling so that you can use it in your composting toilet and in your chicken coop as well as other places. if you have some kind of a base for collecting, it would be far easier than shoveling it

almost ready to enjoy looking out at the finished product to be used next summer when its warmer;;;lol;;;now for the meat;;;I don't see any smoking goin on;;;;back on the farm we had lots of deer jerky;;,dried sausages smoked hams and bacon slabs cured;;;;now's the time to preserve for the future;;;;you are blessed with an enviorment that can give you plenty for preservation;;;;so many abuse their right to be free by wasting food because they have no idea how to save for future meals;;;freezing is only one of which you are aware of;;;;anyway I was reminicing a bit of being back on the farm where the only thing needed from town was tea coffee sugar salt and of course some sweets but 90% of our food was raised and processed there;;;we even sold dairy products eggs and produce;;;also raised goats and sheep and had 4 jersey cows to keep milk butter etc there;;;;anyway sorry for the book but ya brougjht back some mems with the hanging food;;;;lol;;;thumbs up and keep em comin

I was do happy to see those last pieces of insulation going on, getting the siding on and the house all cosied up before winter is such an achievement (lots of building projects i started watching in 2021 have matured so much, and the race agaisnt the westher isnt quite as fraught ) My guess for the future project is only fans for the animals and forest walks 😂😊
