I absolutely loved your video! One reason might be that I'm French so I was very pleased to know that you were visiting my country (and I had guessed it right on your insta stories!) I was quite impressed by your level of French! At the same time, as I'm about to start my career as a French teacher in the UK, I'm glad to see that not all French teachers efforts are vain haha. That's also so nice of you to have actually spoken in French in the video, because I'm sure that a lot of English teens and young adults (and maybe you too) are a little embarrassed when speaking another language, but they shouldn't be! On that note, I now know that when I walk around town in the UK with a baguette in my hands, which I do at least once a week, people immediately think that I'm French 😂

I go to Carcassonne every other year!! It's so beautiful with all the quaint houses and fountains and near so many other great cities too. The castle is a must-see and lovely to walk around, even if it does get ridiculously hot 😂 For a few years it used to have really cool yellow spirals around the turrets. So glad you got to visit my favourite French city ☺
