Everyone is not upgrading to a 24. Seems like KZbinrs are trading bikes with very few miles on them for an unproven new HD model. Not all want to be in perpetual debt to HD!!!!!!! Ride safe all!!!!!

We've done 4-5 road trips on the new platform and are thoroughly impressed. It'll be a game changer once we throw all of our favorite parts on there. They're definitely touring machines. Thanks for tuning in, Kiki! Ride safe

We upgrade bikes every 2-3 years or generally at or around 60-70,000 miles so the timing lined up perfectly this year. Thanks Marc! @@marclawrence2009

@@marclawrence2009if they released a upgrade for the 2017-2023 bikes for those liquid cooled heads. I’d see ZERO want to need to “upgrade”. I got a 2023 with a 124 and would LOVE to not have to get that fkn ultra cool to not overheat in summer traffic. Currently just have the Harley oil cooler that come on it and the fan which doesn’t work anymore bc for some reason PV doesn’t have that box to click for the fan to come on. There a way to get it to work by cutting and splicing some Harley code and slotting it into the PV tune dude built for my combo. My tuner been at it for ages and been on phone with PV many times and can’t get it to work.

I like the new bikes but idk if I would have traded up I’ve seen a lot about problems in the 24s you had clean bikes
@2LaneLife9 ай бұрын
We typically get new bikes before 70,000 miles just so everything is fresh if we're on the other side of the country, so things lined up perfectly with the new platform. This will be the first time the three of us get new bikes at the same time so we can have similar mileage throughout or travels. Gaylin's had 75k but Josh and Lance were just under 50k so we figured we'd just bite the bullet and get some new builds going. Definitely going to miss the old bikes though!

Some good insight as always guys! I watched thrashins video last night. I'm a little taller at 6"'2 so I'm thinking the 9 1/2" pull backs with the high bend bars would be just about right!
@2LaneLife9 ай бұрын
Thanks Justin! We went to sit on Thrashin's 2024 RG with bars today and with the slight ergonomic changes to the new platform, the 9.5's with mids feel very similar to 9.5's and high bends on the 2023 and older Road Glides, but you can't go wrong either way. Once all 3 bikes are here, we'll get to taking some measurements and see what everyone ends up with.

Thanks for tuning in! As far as bar and riser height go, if you use the adapter plate method, then 6.5" pullback risers and mid bend bars or high bend bars would be a great option. Check out the blog link below for a more detailed description of the differences between these setups. 2lanelife.com/blogs/bike-tips-maintenance/barbreakdown @@protouringnova72

If I get an OK tax refund I’m def gonna do that Thrashin T bar setup I don’t love my current bar setup and I always ride with speedo mode so I can actually see the speed without looking down. I don’t really need to see the tach. If ya don’t know approx what speed your motor is running based on feel .. 🤦♂️ But would be bad ass to have it all right there easy to see Cops suck around here and yea I can guesstimate speed but rather safe than sorry
