All those pompano! I’m very jealous, haven’t caught one yet since moving to St. Augustine 2 months ago. My son and I ran into you a few days ago while leaving surfside the other day and it looked like you and your buddy were about to get started. Glad you had a great day, great content, I love how transparent you are about what you are using for bait, and where to go, etc. I’ve watched some of your other videos trying to learn some land fishing spots around st Augustine. Palimar knot is best for braid.

The Palomar knot is a great knot! However, it’s not the easiest knot to use when you have to run a double drop rig back through it while on the beach in the wind. Maybe if I was just attaching a barrel swivel to the line and not an entire rig. Thank you so much for your suggestion though. I do love that knot it’s one of my favorite for attaching jig heads to my line.
