Great review of the food, it brought back many happy memories for us especially at The Beach House and Sindhu. The Grab and Go area is such a loss because on Marella we fill the cabin fridge for those late night snacks after the last bar has closed. And after watching this I’m hungry now 😂

High lads, great vlog again, not been on Azura mush the same as Ventura I would guess. We came back on Sunday from 15 days on Arvia, not been on that one before. We took your advice when in Marseille, took the little train upto the Citadel. Well worth the 10euros. On Arvia we tried Green & Co, that was outstanding if you've not done it We highly recommend it.

Thank you! Yeah, not much in them! Glad you enjoyed the little train, we thought it was fab value too. Yeah, we did try Green and Co, not too bad at all, if it was free that would be a game changer for P&O as it would pull in the plant based crowd. Saying that, keel and cow was our fave

Sorry we are catching up with you on the videos. Booked a last minute cruise on Aurora. It’s become our favourite P&O Ship. Now for the bad news, buffet trays half the time were empty and never replenished, or were a complete mess and never tidied up. Beach House we waited an hour after our starter course, the food was very average. Anyway Azura was our first ship we ever went on, so has a special place in our hearts. Thanks for the video, will catch up with the rest.

Another good review both, Azura still looks a good ship,and goes to sunny ports. We in Pembrokeshire trying to walk the coastal path too windy😅 can recommend St Brides food in Little Haven 😊

Love this video- just got back off Iona after cruising on Azura in the summer. Have to say, although we had a great time we definitely preferred Azura. We ate in Sindhu as as passed Monte Carlo and the south of France- the head waiter was kind enough to move us to a window table. Also had the lava steak although the rest of the food in the beach house wasn't great for us. Preferred the fixed time dining rather than the vitual queues on Iona and generally found Azura to be more chilled and relaxed.

Ohhh that was nice of them to move you to get the good view! We find with the bigger ships the queuing for dinner is always bit of a issue - Azura was the perfect size

Awww thank you! cruise lines are good dealing with special diets. If you’ve not already made them aware of the allergy, it would be worth calling them (or your travel agent) and they add it to your booking, also advise speaking to the restaurant manager once onboard. For the main dining room they may provide you with a menu the day before and ask you to choose ahead so they can prepare it. You’ll have a fabulous cruise!

Im really enjoying this series - I really regret not having the lava rock steak on my trip. Azura is the P&O ship I’m itching to go back on, I just found it such a friendly and welcoming place to be!

Hi Guys, not sure if someone else may have commented, but afternoon tea is still available in the dining room and is complimentary. They serve it on the last sea day of the cruise. It isn't very well advertised but you will see it listed in the Horizon.

Great informative video - really helpful as we prepare for our first ever cruise - also on the Azura - Thanks! One quick question about the 3 plate option for 6.95 at the glass house. Is that just served at dinner and so you need to book a table for it? Or is it something you can just have during the day whenever you fancy, so just pop in when it's quiet and have the 3 plates?

Sorry u may have said and I missed it...re main dining room...do u select fixed or anytime dining on cruise planner before travelling or is anytime only if u have select fare?

If you are select you can choose, on saver it’s just luck of the draw. We prefer anytime/freedom dining and in most cases it’s what we get. If you don’t get your preference, it’s usually possible to change it.

Awwww thank you much! They do have allergy information but we really recommended making sure you contact them ahead of time and also once you get onboard and they’ll accommodate you :)
