I have this same laptop, but with RTX 4060 GPU. The performance is noticeably better than on the variant you showed with 3050Ti. Another point to note is that the charging brick on my variant has 240W of power and the laptop also accepts charge via usb c up to 100W. The upper of the two usb c ports can even fast charge my S22 Ultra. As for battery life, my version can easily push out around 7h of use when using it for productivity purposes (Word, PowerPoint, we browsing). My version also charges really quickly, taking just a bit over an hour for a full charge. One point I feel u midde is that the speakers can get distorted if you pust them over 80% volume. Overall, nice video, I just wish you guys showed the version with RTX 4060 gpu.

have been using this exact same model tuf f15 since october 10 2022 only things i disliked abt it 1 no vent at left side (international variant has vents on both sides) 2 performance decreases heavily when charger is not plugged in but honestly multiple w indows and tabs won't ever be a problem so don't worry abt tht don't use armoury crate unless its rly useful (this is the problem with all asus laptops) 3 it has this one glitch that when you do the laptop on eco mode and then change it on standed everything will still run on your integrated graphics card its a headache to solve it again so just keep it on standard (i am not defaming asus i know there are these problems with every manufacturer's inbuilt software so just defy using them) there have been a real chaos abt the temparature of this laptop it doesn't go above 92 or 93 even while playing rdr2 at high settings at 40-45 degree celsius (if there was an added vent if won't even go 93 :')) i will confirm the powerbrick thing and edit the comment

I own the i5 version of this laptop and I must say this thing is a beast... But there are some issues with this laptop like no ports on the back, and a few screws of the bottom panel comes loose on its own. But my pet biggest peeve would the Display, the Gen 3 SSD and the Armoury Crate application . The screen is not good enough for anything other than gaming. The Gen3 SSD is really slow. And the Armoury Crate is just super tacky and switching between Standard and Eco modes is just not good. The laptop automatically goes into Standard mode (dedicated GPU) if the battery is full. Sometimes I forget that this happens and I would do some work on my laptop for 40 50 mins and realize i'm only left with 30 percent battery... 🤧 Edit: I have the TUF dash F15.

@@shailendrachandrasekaran hey look if you don't have to do any color accurate work and don't want to change your laptop in 3-4 yrs then please stay away from OLED screens. You'll get far better laptop if you ditch the whole OLED screen and instead look for better spec. And yes, 250 nits on a LCD screen is good brightness. Personally I too was skeptical at first so I went in offline markets and used the laptops in hand and realised 250 is pretty sufficient for day to day tasks. It becomes a pain only if you're sitting under direct sunlight.

6:34 this can or cannot be the case as they might as well perform similarly. You see, the wattage of 4050 laptops being low doesn't curb its performance too much and it will end up performing similarly or a bit worse like 5% or something as the 40 series of Nvidia GPUs are way more power efficient than the 30 series and also you get 6 gigs of vRAM on the 4050. Also DLSS 3 Frame Generation works better on 40 series GPUs as the tensor cores are optimized for it while in the 30 series it will work but not as good so you might end up seeing that even though to 45 watt 4050 may or may not match the 3050ti 95 watt in raw performance but 4050 will outperform it when DLSS is being used which is actually good most of the time as these days it doesn't feel like much of a difference visually on quality preset which should be just enough tinkering to get high refresh rate performance in most of the AAA titles from the normal 60 FPS and just overall better on the 40 series GPU. Also you might argue there is some added latency involved and I agree but nothing crazy tbh especially in AAA titles it doesn't really matter.

My friend has rtx 2060 from 2020 with 6gb of vram and it outperform every 3050 or any 4gb vram card . Guyssss noooo!!!! You couldve got the i7 12700H + rtx 4060 for 115k, the 4060 is better than the 3060 but most importantly it supports frame generation which is very helpful at lower resolutions to get a stable high frame rate. The 3050/3050ti is just overpriced and overrated in 2023 and the 4060 is about 2x more powerful than 3050ti even without frame gen on, do that and itll go 2.5x easy. 4060 has 8gb vram whereas 3050 has 4gb and trust me, the way newer games are running and chomping through vram, its only a years time when that 4gb obsoletes out. On top of that the 2023 version of the tuf has a 100% srgb screen as compared to 2022 version's 74%, srgb content is what most of the web runs on and 100% srgb should be the minimum you get in 2023.. would be really awesome if you guys redid a video for the 12700H+4060 2023 tuf f15, for about 15-20k youre just getting a much better future proofed laptop and the price will come down to settle around 1.05L.. cheers 😉🥂

Hey I see you know a lot about these so, Could you recommend me a laptop for coding gaming and video editing And the budget is around 1L 20 30k extra hua toh bhi koi baat nai
@beingcreative9503 Жыл бұрын
@@riteshdevaruppal6952 if urgent, tuf f15 12700h+4060 is 1.16L rn so 16k over budget and you can use those additional savings for a ssd, (1tb m.2 nvme costs around 5-6k), ram is 16gb so sufficient for most tasks. Can do gaming at 1080p in aaa and in competitive fps at around 100+fps easy at high settings plus you have frame gen for 40 series so future proofed too along with 8gb vram which makes it better for aiml programming and future games. Display is good 100% srgb so can do color correction work so vid editing is covered. Use vsync because it has an Intel cpu for much better performance while editing in premiere. If you go for davinci resolve, the gpu is powerful enough for 4k editing easy. Battery is big so just turn off the dgpu when going to college and it'll pull 7-8hrs for coding. If you do decide to wait for some sale, the price for this may fall to around 1L which will make it an even sweeter deal. Most laptops in this price range have 13th gen h series chips but they carry the "latest generation tax" so come with 4050 which has 6gb vram and it is a limitation for futureproofing even after the fact that there's not a significant difference in performance. You're atleast gonna expect this laptop to last through your engineering ie 4 years. There's options with 13th gen hx too but they offer worse battery life and not much difference in the tasks you mentioned plus they run hotter and louder. There's amd options but they are expensive rn and offer 4060s. After researching the market, this is the best product I've come across in this price range. Good display, good build quality, good battery life, good keyboard (asus has best in this segment), lightweight when compared to other gaming laptops (2.2kg vs 2.6kg avg gaming laptop), good upgradability (just throw in a 1tb drive and you'll have 1.5tb net and 16gb ram which is enough for coming years. Maybe could do 32gb in a year or two when ddr5 becomes cheaper and ddr4 goes dirt cheap), asus has service centres in major cities and tier 2 cities too so not much problem with repairs also tuf has been in the market for about 2-3 years now so their spare parts will potentially be cheaper on the aftermarket and its more popular than other series so availability is good too. One major advantage of tuf is kinda subtle design which makes it look like a office laptop and trust me its a major advantage. When you pull up in a meeting or some place where the mood is not funky, those big gaming laptops with red accents splattered all over look obnoxious, this is more like a slightly big ultrabook.. yeah thats prolly it im waiting for a sale to get this one only, wish you a happy purchase my guy, enjoy 🥂

I bought this laptop 9 months ago, the thing is an absolute beast. I bought this from Chroma for 88,000 including discounts, while a 3000 rupee 2 year warranty extension was bought separately. Its an amazing machine, and I've run almost every category of games on this, AAA, Indie games, platformers, FPS games, simulator games, you name it. Some of the avg FPS for common games are: CSGO: 400(highest settings) Valorant: 250-300(highest settings) GTAV: 80-100(high settings) PUBG: 120(high settings) Fortnite: 150(high settings) The battery lasts 9-10 hours with the RTX GPU off, running on the iGPU alone, while multitasking. The temps are fairly high but decent for laptops, averaging 80°C for GPU intensive tasks as well. Have any questions? Feel free to ask...

@xero4479 Жыл бұрын
@@AchiragChiragg yes, exact same specs, i7 12700H and 3050Ti. I manage to squeeze 9-10 hours out of the battery by switching off the dGPU, turning on the battery saver mode, turning down the brightness to 50%(trust me its bright enough to use in a well lit indoors room), and finally turning off the RGB backlit keyboard. If you're working at night in darkness, then you can turn on the white backlight, which still gives an increase in battery backup, while remaining functional

Well, The battery on the TUF is a major factor on why you should buy it over something cheaper like the MSI Thin 15 or The Acer ALG. The TUF has a 90whr battery that, when combined with MUX switch and Nvidia Optimus can give you 12.5hrs of battery, according to the company but, I believe it will go max-to-max 8hrs with iGPU so this is a minor detail missed.

I bought the A 15 last year with ryzen 7 8core and nvidia RTX 3050 for 62k (10k off for an old laptop) and here's what i found: Pros: •The cpu is reallu good it can handle nearly anything whithout thermal throttling. •Gpu is also pretty good, I don't do much gaming but can say it can run AAA title at 60fps mid-high settings. •the battery is a tricky one but I'll try to explain, mine came with a 90whr battery which runs 4-5 hrs easily on running normal tasks with nvidia enabled, 1-2 hr on battery while using the gpu, and 7-8 hr easily by disabling the nvidia gpu in asus app. Cons: •the display is neither bright nor color accurate enough to do anything color accurate work. •speaker are mediocre with some setting done in dts audio pannel. • biggest con is the wifi card, it came with a mediatek mt7921 wifi card which is a really bad card.(so bad I don't even wanna talk about it) Ps: I use a laptop cooling stand to use this beast because i like to use it on my lap and if i did that without that i would get 2nd degree burns and yeah at turbo mode playing games without proper air flow it becomes very loud.

ASUS ROG Strix G17 is my laptop's name with actually same specs, expect no webcam but a real good speaker (2W but better sounds a lot cooler with Dolby Atmos ofc). As a gamer, my room stays in a state where the lights do not fall directly on my screen, so the brightness is not at all a issue. There's only a single Thunderbolt port as most space is taken by vent, it doesn't support any charging from that type c, well 200 watts type c is rare, i got only 45 watt charger. And yea the vents, i have paired my laptop with an Archer tech Cooler (the lifted one cause i store my BT speaker and controller under it) in sup hot days of Summer in Bengal, like 40-47 c temp, the laptop stayed put at 92 c cpu and gpu with sup performance. Asus really amazes me with the 4K 144hz display cause the colors are magnificent, I legit was amazed by how close it went to an 100%SRGB monitor of my uncle's. Now there are some issues ig specially for Strix: 1) Good price and performance but cam left the chat. 2) Mic quality is not bad but while keeping the laptop a little far, the Mic stops hearing me hence i generally use my External Mic. 3) too heavy with charger and cooler. Now ig these problems are with mostly all Gamers, Charger heating, fr it's a thing that needs to be taken seriously. For Beginners, please place your charging bricks on an open surface with plenty of air, because it gets heated a lot. Be it Tuf or Strix or any other names, Gaming performance depends on Specs and Cooling, I would recommend getting a good well reviewed cooler, be it any company cause external cooler work. Wanna know a secret? go to Antartica if you don't want to buy a cooler. Jokes aside, after all its your money and your work so choose wisely before buying a costly laptop. For example, i am a guy who likes to keep his laptop like a Desktop, always plugged in ofc, external mouse keyboard (no speaker because mine are great) headphone Bla blah. I use this machine as a Portable desktop (if you know then you know). I generally pack it in the bag i got for the Offline Asus retailer. Another advice is, as this is a costly thing, buy it offline if you have an official retailer near your house or city. Sometimes it feels a lot better Buying the product which you have tested on spot. BTW if you have more budget for accessories then pair your laptop with its same company items, they sync a lot better. AND DO SEE/CHECK/VERIFY THE SPECS VERY CAREFULLY, don't even miss the RAM type or Wi-Fi version. Size is completely up to you, idk if size does anything with cooling or not. I hope you people Buy great beast machines and I would also thank Team TW #TechWiser for making these vids (another secret, am a fan!!). I hope I could help a lot of people, Cya!!peace!!

Bro I have the same laptop with i5 12th gen and both cons in accordance to my personal experience doesn't apply to the tuf f15 1. It's speakers are damn loud and clear above all, you should try checking if the Dolby Atmos if off on your particular device 2. On normal usage, although I capped it's charging at 80% with brightness around 70% normal day to day browsing, movies and music it gives me around 6 hours of battery life 3. Their are 2 type-C port, the non-thunderbolt port support 100 watt PD charging. (I guess your device have some problems, make sure to check it with asus customer care) Thank you for reading it carefully 🙏
