Love seeing the younguns jump in helping with the chores. Blessings to y'all from Ohio. Meredith, as far as grinding gears, don't worry. I hear next year, they're gonna make 'em outta rubber! lol There are probably a series of clips around the edge of the panel that snap into holes in the metal door. If you take a flat putty knife and carefully go around the edge under the panel, you should be able to pry out and pop them out of the holes. Had a good friend ran a body shop for decades and taught me a lot! 95% of door panels attach that way! Still have a few screws in the center to take out, but most is clips around the edge.

My heart goes out to all of you and the other farmers when the rain doesn't come. I could see Lawrences chest moving up and down almost at a slower pace as it was relaxing with the bit of relief with the rain and another chance at a more prosperous crop haul for this year and feed and tending to his families needs. The provider/providers of home and family and land is tremendous for all families but I have a special place in my heart for those who provide us food and take care of all of us when it comes to crops and meat to feed the world virtually.......all totaled what would we do without our farms.......NOT MUCH! God bless you both and your efforts .........you represent so so many without knowing it as it is the way of farming ......big or small we depend on Gods goodness and Mother Nature to do what the winds and clouds provide to get us where we can sustain. Peace and more rain..........may it be yours at the correct times so you can continue on. Thank you to all our farmers here and across the world for providing us life and sustainment! Thank you for loving the earth and what God provides.

Hi Meredith good video 👍🏻! It seems it’s a year of extremes for weather everywhere! I’m from South Dakota and it’s been a wild ride! On a normal year are last frost is mid to late April . We had frost until mid May and just really cool temps. We had many days in May that didn’t get out of the 40s and very little rain . I normally plant my garden mid May it was so cold I didn’t plant it until June 1st . Now June completely flipped and got hot 🥵 it’s a 100 again today . I think there has been only 5 days in June under 90 and 5 days over a 100 ,last week it got to 106 ! It should be in low to mid 80s for this time of year. I think we have had about a inch of rain since the first of May . First cutting of hay wasn’t great but there won’t be anymore without some good rains. The crops are hanging in there yet but they won’t take much more . And without rain the pastures will be done by mid July not a pretty picture here either. I guess all we can do is 🙏🏻

I think I forgot to mention in your last video when the topic of making small square bales of straw came up. Mr. Larwance stated he cannot find anyone to help with the baling. When I lived in Illinois, I mowed, raked, baled hay for two very large hay farmers. What they would do is hire the kids from the Church to load the wagons and unload the wagons. You could probably do that too for the straw. Because your subscriber was correct, there is a good market for bales of straw, and it would provide some extra cash coming in. // My childhood story of me and yellow jackets. My dad was going out to do some spraying and stopped right beside our hectare of strawberries. Of course, the Strawberries were still covered in straw from the winter. When I jumped off the tractor (I was about 8 years old), I stepped right on a nest of yellowjackets. I have never been stung so many times as that time. To this day, I hate yellowjackets. // Shepherd's Pie is made with lamb, not beef. As I recall you do have two lambs.

So on the door panel, once you take out all the screws or small bolts, the panel is fastened with plastic push in tabs . You just have to pull on the panel to figure out where they are and use the tack puller ( the horseshoe lookin tool you had before) and just pull them out of the door like a nail, the tack puller goes between the panel and the door and pull! Inevitably on that old a truck the push in tabs or retainers will break but they should have replacement ones at the auto parts store for cheap! For your window switch, you should be able to get one at a salvage yard for a reasonable price and they are easy to put in unless the plastic on the panel is broken and then you’d have to have another panel! There should be a multitude of salvage parts for that year! Hope this helps! Taking the panel off can be a little stubborn but that’s what it takes! If I were closer I would be happy to install it for you! Good luck! Glad it finally rained for you!

I was praying for rain for y'all. Lawrence knew it might not rain. I know that look, I know that feeling. I had 1.2 inches of rain here in SW OK, 3 1/2 weeks ago. But that's not unusual here. Heat with high humidity IS. AND overnight lows in the high 70s is NOT normal here. Dad started this farm in 1949. He and Mom were right outta college, and bought a farm They had no idea a drought was coming. They were forced to leave the farm after a few yrs. With degrees they got good jobs. Then someone discovered you could drill here and get irrigation water. So Dad had a well drilled and irrigation installed for his renter. A few yrs later he was able to move his young family back to where we belonged. Now, EVERY farm I own can be irrigated! Irrigation IS expensive. But just ONE irrigated farm can save a cattle operation.
