I’ve been seeing comments that Filipinos are “Asian Hispanic.” But just so everyone knows, the culture in the Philippines was HUGELY impacted because Spain had invaded and colonized the Philippines for 333 years! That’s why you will see some Filipinos with Hispanic last names due to the fact that the people of Spain forced the people in the Philippines to change their last names. But what people don’t seem to understand is only around 7-10 percent of Filipinos have a Hispanic descent while the rest have a Chinese descent and two other various of descents. I think it’s important for people to know and understand the history of the Philippines. Filipinos are Asians, they are wonderful people. I’ve met several Filipinos and I absolutely love the ones I’ve met. Also, Hispanic people are great too. I just wanted people to know the history of the Philippines. (I know because I’ve done some research.)

@5:36 I think this is lidgid (made from ground cassava) rather than moron (made from ground sticky rice). I don't about Filipinos from other parts of the country, but from where I come from moron is distinct from lidgid. Aside from that, I think it was a really good selection of Philippine desserts. Props to Noel!
