This is really an authentic filipino dishes/desserts. I'm happy he brought this kind of dishes to his friends. Most of reactors I've seen always tries, halo-halo, leche flan, some does ube but that's it. Seeing them try biko, moron, maja blanca, bukayo etc is a breath of a fresh air. Good job kabayan Noel! 💜

Then when you go to the north part of the Philippines there's a dessert called "TUPIG" (roasted glutinous rice wrap with banana leaves) the taste is just like they ate at the video. @josecaringal

I agree one of the most unique Filipino dessert. But let's understand them maybe it wasn't available. Maybe Noel bought it from the Filipino Market in Korea that is only open on Sundays when Pinoy OFWs go to church. The other homade dessert have ingredients available in Korea (like rice, egg, brown sugar, peanuts, corn, milk, etc.) purple yam or ube is hard to come by in Korea maybe on another video it will be featured.

Anyway i get it but i cant inagine having everything tasting like coconut and brown sugar. Im someone who loves coconut in desserts and theyre much rare in western cuisine and i know a lot of people dont like coconut so seeing so much is like wow like i love black liquorice but its like known to be a hated thing but i know in scandinavian countries its pretty popular and considered like a national type thing like vegemite is to aussies so yeah.

I’ve been seeing comments that Filipinos are “Asian Hispanic.” But just so everyone knows, the culture in the Philippines was HUGELY impacted because Spain had invaded and colonized the Philippines for 333 years! That’s why you will see some Filipinos with Hispanic last names due to the fact that the people of Spain forced the people in the Philippines to change their last names. But what people don’t seem to understand is only around 7-10 percent of Filipinos have a Hispanic descent while the rest have a Chinese descent and two other various of descents. I think it’s important for people to know and understand the history of the Philippines. Filipinos are Asians, they are wonderful people. I’ve met several Filipinos and I absolutely love the ones I’ve met. Also, Hispanic people are great too. I just wanted people to know the history of the Philippines. (I know because I’ve done some research.)
