Great video guy's, Rob nice pole man the guys at work must think you are an engineering I T marvel, Jen you looked like you were struggling with the potatoes I had a flash back to when you put the axe in your leg chopping wood ouch! Rob should get a guest appearance on Master Chef Canada it might lead into something big the next Mary Berg!
@pursuitforadventure9 ай бұрын
He definitely could be an engineer. People at work often stop him on the way in to see what he has for lunch lol. That potato was definitely a struggle lol. The table was very wobbly. He would definitely do well on that show! Would be pretty awesome Thank for watching ☺️

Another great Video, you mentioned 50 calibre rounds. I am sure you know where the old airfield is in Diver, you need to go through it to get to Sucker lake, it's famous for blueberry picking. The aircraft that used that field must have done lots of target practice. We found large calibre shell casings when we camped at Boland. That area sure has a bit of history. I'd like to visit it again one day, it has changed a lot from my days there 30 - 40 years ago, camping there was free back then and for a few years they even had the Junior rangers that would come for the summer and stay at that big camp on McConnell, (not even sure if that camp is there now) they would go around to the sites to do maintenance and cleanup. It was and still seems like a great area. You folks have a great day, stay safe and keep doing what you're doing... You can make pillows out of clothes, you can't make garlic out of anything lol

@dunk22 we love this area! We've had a seasonal camp up there for over 10yrs. We camp on Blue. Boland and Little McDougal are also still running campgrounds. Unfortunately, we have been told by the ministry that we all need to pull out by the end of October.. there will be no camping for the year of 2025. Apparently, due to contamination and environmental concerns. Very sad about the news. Diver is a wonderful area! Thanks for watching 😊

Glad you enjoyed the video! We actually made the adjustable pole ourselves with aluminum tubing and scaffolding pins we found at home depot.

Great job on the stove and cpmplete setup. Are there any icefishing plans in the future that will include this setup? Have you ever been to Manitoulin Island? Meldrum Bay area would be a great trip out, such a beautiful area. Water is crystal clear..
@pursuitforadventure9 ай бұрын
Yes we plan to use this tent where possible when we are ice fishing. It's so nice and big! We have only driven through the Manitoulin Island area on our way home. We are losing our ice rapidly at the moment so I am not sure about ice fishing until next winter. We will have to see what mother nature has for us. Thank you for the tip! We will add that to our places to check out. Thanks for watching ☺️
