Idk this game looks really promising, I mean the performance alone in this beta is much better than any day I’ve played eft and I’m on a 3080. Some maps can’t even maintain 90+ fps in 2024 like come on eft. This game looks so smooth and even if it’s a bit less hardcore the grind required for eft is still stupid long before you really get into the meat of the guns, armors and attachments.

Not to mention it being free after tarkov just dropped that 250$ edition is really like a double fuck you to tarkov. This is coming from an EOD owner too I got scummed for 150$ and it’s kinda painful having to admit tarkovs defeat here 😭😂.

This is just the beta and it looks good already. For mobile, season 2/3 was greatly improved on everything from graphics to gameplay. I'm surprised the weapons list didn't include the M110, M16 and Hk416 from the start on beta. Maybe they will include them on launch.

If you see a crate like logo at bottom on the lft hnd side of an item it not sellable on the flea market. You need to take it into the raid and successful extract first to remove those markers.

"Big part" eh no, that's just in your mind or perception, which is quite limited (no offense), majority of the people that play and enjoy Tarkov, do because of how hardcore it is. Reality is that the player count barely dropped since the Unheard drama, if that didn't affect the player count, ABI isn't doing. Also "a little more casual" is still far from AB, AB is A LOT MORE casual, the game has built in maps with extractions you can mark, the maps themselves are way smaller and simpler, the map shows the location of every single loot container, there's no RPG aspects, overall it's a lot more hollow game than Tarkov, the only things that it does better is raid preparation time, loading times and overall perfomance, the base game is like Tarkov v1 but even more simplified.

Honestly this is not a copy of EFT, it came out in the mobile game first. They only deployed it in PC. EFT has been a wonderful game, very realistic but we've seen so many cons from outrageous updates, just like any other game. And some of those updates just doesn't make sense. EFT is a hardcore Mil-Sim and almost realistic as it can be. It's just that AB made it much better but not all of it. Just play the game that you like, I love EFT and I loved AB in the mobile version. I absolutely cannot wait for it to be fully launched in PC.

@@iii1429to be fair, game is free and is owned by tencent, known to add microtransactions to their games, although tencent often doesnt like locking content behind hard paywalls. Buyable items in game will most likely be available through in game progressions on release but there might be a lot of cosmetics and other types pf monetizations. At the end of the day, game will be free so the developers literally have to have microtransactions, otherwise they wont make any money.

keep it pay to win. add additions like tarkov but at a much less pay to win factor but that would warrent spending more on couple versions from $30 to $90. stay away from PTW aspects just more QOL things. like a couple more dollars at start. maybe some menu screens, unique camos for guns and PMCs etc. im still in shock tarkov gave out so much in unheard and did so much. its so easy to not do that and i dont understand

For CONS, I’d say this: -right now game have pretty bad sounds of weapon handling, some of them do not interact with the environment, some do. Many more sound related stuff are just bad - maps look more like… PUBG or something like that. They lack small details, and look uncanny in some way. It’s about immersiveness, it’s hard to believe in this world. - economics is pretty strange All the other things can be ignored under the “it’s still a beta” sign.
