I love how back in the dey the main way of beating hardcore was with the help of a crutch (The OLD Toxic Gunner 50% slowdown + slowing down bosses bugs) and now you can still beat hardcore with a tower that has no purpose being on Hardcore anymore, TG is barely decent nowadays, This truly shows how poorly hardcore fares with modern TDS

As an older TDS player who had his prime around 2020, mainly after hardcore realeased, ther is an older, very popular strategy. It was called Poggers (pog strat for short), from what I found in my very short resarch it was used in late November 2020 during the fan favourite Halloween event. I belive there likely is older ones for the hardcore beta too.

hardcore beta was pretty free you could use pretty much any dps tower and instead of ace pilot people used sniper for balloons

Ah I remember poggers, but I think before that Elite made a strat and then poggers got added and elite removed it because he realized poggers was better and didn't want people to play his strat anymore, so I dont think you can find the elite hardcore strat

the real ones remember poggers hardcore strategy, it was the only strategy used before the frost invasion update, after that there were so many hardcore strategies

I remember during 2020 when the poggers strat was the most popular hc strategy on wrecked battlefield. If the bridge hadn’t bugged the second void reaver it would’ve been impossible. Good times

I remember when literally the only way to deal with leaked flying balloons was that single bridge on the old version of wrecked battlefield and you had to pray so bad that the military base and the flying balloon collided together on that single bridge.
