I am from Tanzania living in the States, I am a big fan of you guys, I am so addicted to your Chanel. I love the fact that you were able to adopt the environment and enjoy what you guys are doing. Please watch some youtube videos of Tanzanians on how to make chapati and take your time to make them. The way you are making them on a rush and high heat the doughs don't really get cooked. Actual chapati need sometimes to let the dough sit for at least 15-20 to self rise, then make the balls and let them sit again for 15 minutes when covered, then roll them and spread oil, ghee or whatever you are using make sure you spread the entire dough on the entire dough. Fold nicely and equal and let them sit again for at least 15 minutes while covered. The last process will be rolling and put them on a pan on a low heat.
