Very cute cottage. Love watching how to plant your muscadine orchard. Sending some healing Prayers to you and your family to help with the healing process due to the house fire. 🤟🏼

Shane and Kim, you did an excellent job on the cottage. It turned out beautifully. It's been real hot here in Phoenix too and now the humidity which we normally don't have is adding to the mix and making it miserable to work outside. More grapes? That doesn't come as a surprise to me at all lol. Hugs to Y'all Ü

Pam are very good! Hope you arent chasing blackberry plants for awhile. I hope Kinfolk Kottage does well, we've been working on an apartment on our shop for a few years with same ideas.... maybe one day.

Looks good. I have 3 of the Pam variety. That bug we had earlier this year hit them hard and none of them have any fruit. Meanwhile, the Early Fry planted right in the middle of those 3 is loaded with grapes. Go figure. We have all ours covered with bird netting to slow down the birds and deer, but most of the vines are loaded down. Current heat index here is 106. That's why I'm watching KZbin.

Looking good. I've looked at getting a pineapple muscadine too. My Hall and Lanes are early so I thought that I would look at the mid and late verity too. LOL maybe just 1 of each though. My garden is really small.

How's the mini split working out? I'm getting one installed in a few months on my little back yard cabin. I need new windows as well. It's amazing how much money you will spend on a small structure.

I am getting ready to more than double my vineyard, and the boss lady wants some scuppernongs. Do you have to put scupps with others, or can I mix them? My plan is to put a row of Pam between two rows of Isons. Will this work?
@KinfolkFarmofGeorgia5 ай бұрын
Definitely. That's what I'm planting this year is pam. The ison will help to pollinate the pam and they should stay loaded after a couple of years

Too bad the new cottage isn't available in September. Looks like we'll be lodging in Newnan 😢 Another question friend....While your vine is growing down the wire, how often did you rotate the vine around the wire? Once every couple of feet?
@KinfolkFarmofGeorgia5 ай бұрын
I honestly try not to. The tendrils should grab and hold the vine but not to say I haven't done it I just feel lie it could cause problems later as it might grow the wire into the vine

@@KinfolkFarmofGeorgiathanks again...since I applied the first feeding of calcium nitrate yesterday, I swear my vines are traveling 6in a day...😮

You concrete in your end poles? Have you tried using 9” (give or take) telephone poles. Wanted to burry them 3 feet and leave 5 feet above?
