What gets me is you have insurance that your required to have, that your paying all this money into but heaven forbid if you have to make a claim. The insurance company then penalized you by raising your premium and rates. Always kills me when these companies advertise that their there for you, to help you through your difficult times. I had my van opened once and they stole a shitty impact driver n combi drill that were on their last legs so I didn’t really care that much But a week later I went to get my skill saw out and realised that had gone too. It was at that point I was totally gutted It was new only used it twice so it was a week later until I felt the sorrow of being robbed

Nick it's becoming a lazy society we live in now where people are buying these cars with keyless entry systems, back in 2000 era when cars came with transponder chips in the keys car thieves had to physically have the car key to start the car there was no snapping the ignition barrel off and using a screwdriver to start them you needed the key with the chip in it to disable the immobiliser, Car Manufactures don't care if vans get damaged in a break in as they sell the new panels to repair them and as for keyless thefts Manufacturers are rubbing their hands together with the amount of vehicles going missing as they sell more new cars, for me it should lay with insurance companies to not give insurance for these types of vehicles and then manufacturers won't have sales then they would either beef up the ketlyless systems so the signal cannot be grabbed or revert back to the transponder system, some car manufacturers have in place where if you hold one of the buttons on the keyless fob for a certain length of time it stops the fob from transmitting a signal and then any button to start it transmitting a signal again, but who is going to remember to do that every time and then insurance companies will refuse to pay out if the owner forgets to do it and the vehicle is stolen.
