Claire looked so sad! I suppose, as the oldest, she remembers more at your previous house, school friends etc. I hope you all settle in soon & the children are happy in their new school, and I wish you good luck with the house building! 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Claire probably had to leave some really close friends. I had a very best friend, Cathy, who moved away( across the country,) when we were about 10. It was never the same, and we lost touch. I wrote letters to her, but didn't get any in return. I still remember the hurt I felt.🥺

I have never seen Claire look so sad. Even once you got to the new land, she still looked sad. It breaks my heart to see her sad. Change is never easy and I know things will settle and she (and the family) will be well again. Moving is stressful and oh my! you sure don't need a flood when you just moved in. Hope the children will adjust to the change and that we will see Claire back to her regular self soon. Let's see all updates on the house, big and small. p.s. the hair is just fine Dave, different but fine!

Not wanting sympathy as I am fine now, but two years ago my brother passed so I went to Ohio for two weeks from Florida. While I was gone, my hot water tank broke and flooded my entire house. Two days after I got back, I had people ripping up carpet, dry wall, checking for mold and received a diagnosis of colon cancer. It’s been a fun two years. But now I’m healthy, have all new floors and bathrooms, newly painted inside house and a clean bill of health. You can get through anything with faith, love, and friends.
