I hate that these good moments are so far between each other. Like in Obi-Wan when Reva betrayed Vader, she kept swinging her saber at him, but Vader never drew his blade and kept dodging her attacks. he then snatched her saber out of her hands, broke it in two, then tossed the other half back to her. he then ignited the other half so they could duel. he's going to give her a fair chance... but nothing else. he's going to remind her who is the baddest of the bad here. Then in Ashoka, Anakin switching back and forth between himself and Vader every time lightning flashed. These moments are the only reasons I watch these shows.

Vader is a fairly easy character to write interacting with his underlings and enemies. He’s a boogeyman of few words who looms over everyone with his presence and implications and does very bad things to people if allowed to. If he’s not executing someone he’s reminding them he has the power to do so as The Emperors hatchet man.
@Icemario873 ай бұрын
@@jyggalag169Exactly. And what's more: Vader is actually wrong. Infiltration does not include arrest and detainment until after the infiltration task is complete. He threatened the guy for being correct. It's even worse than that, actually. Because the guy should have been much more submissive even when being correct. His backbone doesn't fit in this situation.

I like the outlaw scene, but the hallway moment in Rogue one is leagues above this. Vader didn’t just spook rebels with glass, he was an active threat that used any and all means to subdue The rebels in the most brutally efficient way possible. Also, the threat of a death that is more excruciatingly painful that you can ever imagine is a great team motivational exercise 🤣 True story though: After I saw Rogue One I was telling a friend about it and his son (about 15) yo) pipes up and says "Man, that was dumb. Who was that guy in black at the end killing all the Rebels?". I said "Darth Vader, he is The Bad Guy that bad guys have nightmares about." It's not odd at all. The company probably has a lot of burnt-out game developers pissed at upper management all the time.

He's always been terrifying ever since that good old X-Wing video game. Sure, he only appeared in a cutscene or two, but that was enough to prove that he's something worth fearing against.

Vader in my opinion, has never been messed up in any shows or movies thus far.

Aaaaand I immediately stopped the video once I realized it was from Outlaws. The thumbnail straight up looks like a comics panel. Thanks a lot for the spoiler tho. Really appreciate it.

He continues to argue even while the glass is literally cracking behind Vader, lmao.

A good scene, in a mediocre game.

This Vader is very intimidating! I like it! He keeps on getting more and more of a menace with each new rendering of his persona! RIP James Earl Jones.

@@ark204No, most games with stealth mechanics require the player to break line of sight before you can hide. Otherwise the enemies will walk right up to your hiding spot and start attacking. This game doesn't do that.

I love how in every recent Star Wars game, they made sure to really show Vaders mastery and power. In Fallen Order all Cal could do is run a way, in the second game Seer severely damaged Vader, and in this game, we see that some of the most powerful people are nothing compared to him. Truly the Frank Horrigan of Star Wars

This scene reminds me a classic Vader scenes in older games. If only the rest of the game had this quality.
