I'm a bit late to the party, but in regards to the 'Compulsively Count' feature, it's actually a common part of Vampire folklore that vampires were obsessed with counting. One of the ways to deal with a vampire was to spill seeds in their path and they would have to stop to count them all. It's also a feature of jiangshi or Chinese hopping vampires, who apparently would have to count every grain of rice if they came across a bag full.

Specifically what people are allergic to when it comes to cats is a protein that is in their saliva and skin dander. So the combination of them licking their fur and it shedding along with the dander is what causes those reactions. It’s why fur going in the eyes would cause it.

Do not understand why the QOL thing where you can craft using ingredients in nearby chests as if they were in inventory hasn't been universally adopted in these sorts of games. Does anyone actually enjoy hunting down ingredients in various chests every time they need to craft or fix something? Main part of why I almost always bounce off these things as soon as they reach a certain critical mass of complexity/dependency.
