Thanks for the tour of the SS Rotterdam. In 2017 we took the train down from Amsterdam and spent the night on the ship- our room was one deck below the bridge with three windows facing forward. We had dinner in the ship’s dressier restaurant. The food was spectacularly good. We also took took some of the same tours you did- nice to revisit them via your video.

wow! Awesome to see the Rotterdam, that was the 2nd ship I sailed on, back in 1995 when she was 36 years old, still a very lovely ship back then, so glad she has had a 2nd life!

That is the strong point of SS Rotterdam, the ex HAL staff who work/ volunteer there, as you noticed they are proud of their past. Glad you appreciated it. Always good to see 'my' Rotterdam area. Thank you both for showing this. Did you try the vegetarian options at the Quays or do you know how they are?

They made all the difference to our visit. They really are super proud of the ship and in their passion it really shows. Also their kindness to help us back to the ship was exceptional. Unfortunately we didn’t try the vegetarian options in the quays but we noticed a vegetarian or vegan option on most menus

We are visiting Rotterdam with P and O in October, may I ask your opinion, do you think that the Epicurean is worth a visit and value for money outside a 'special event day' i.e. Valentines ?. Also Fabulous vlog as always.🎉🎉xxxx

Hi thanks for your comment! The Epicurean is a great experience. I’d check the menu first to see if there’s something that you would like for each of the courses. We’d definitely recommend booking yourself in as the food is always superb! 😀

@@TomandDomTravel thank you for your reply. We traveled on Ventura this summer and honestly we were let down by Sindhu and the Glass house. The beach house exceeded all expectations. We will take your advice and check the menues, as I have discovered there are differing menues (all be it subtly) between ships. Looking forward to your future blogs, kindest regards Gillian.
