Watching this on Christmas day with my son after opening up my new Mercury Wide and his new D.O.A. We've been riding Capita paired with Union for +7 years now and we're so stoked for this season! I'll be 45 in a couple of days and watching Fawcett get excited like a "kid in a candy store" reassures me that it's OK to stay stoked even into my later years. Good stuff!

I think there will be a new Union white step on with the black toe hooks and black lever.. with adjustable heel cup..and the lever is longer and higher up the heel cup so it's easier to reach. Just a guess 😉.

looks like a break down of the new burton genesis step on in the 3d printing room. Might be making step on bindings using Burton mechanisms? Not sure if it's great from strategy from Union's perspective but with the rise of step ons maybe using the burton mechanisms is a starting point. Would love to see if they're able to create their own step on/in bindings that is compatible with all boots not just a step on boot.

​@@sootyrumble not so much the baseplate but one of the high back looks like the new Burton Step On Genesis EST. if their gonna be using the burton step on functionality (base on the clips on the front of the baseplate), they may have gotten samples for research purposes. Also if they're using Burton's functionality, they would probs have to pay Burton some sort of royalty if it's patented. And burton would probably be providing samples to ensure the functionality works with the boots clips. All speculation base on what they look like.

Hello! I consider myself an intermediate rider (I can ride down all runs) and a beginner in freestyle. I’m looking for bindings that are versatile for the whole mountain but also help me progress in freestyle. I’ve purchased a Bataleon Evil Twin Plus board. Do you recommend the Union Force or the Union Ultra? Will I notice the difference in flex given my limited experience? Thank you in advance!

Go with the Union Ultra in this case - very comfortable and a bit better medial flex - will help with freestyle flex and the base tray really helps dampen landings!
