i went to scarefest in oct for my birthday, didnt buy any maze tickets cause they were well pricey n thought oh itll be fine without. the years before when ive gone they used to have stuff all around the park, yk decorations scare actors ect, n it was great cause even if you werent on a ride you were getting a fun scary experience. but when i went recently it felt like there was nothing, no scare actors around, not much decor for while youre walking around, and we did end up trying a maze out n it was rlly mid, actors were not trying. was rlly sad cause i love alton eps scarefest n it was just nothing yk? i think they hyper focused on the scare mazes so it meant the rest of the park was lack luster
