You left something out Wallah. The nerf also made it so that the swarm grenade mines travel 20% more slowly once they detect and break off after only a couple of seconds instead of chasing you everywhere. It's piss easy to outrun the floating mines on reaction now. It's weird. I saw this mentioned somewhere but for whatever reason it's not in the notes - and I think that is vastly more important then the cooldown nerf. I personally think that was the other helpful nerf. Is it enough? Not sure. Hunter is still strong - but it definitely made them weaker. I see people escape the swarm grenade even for cleanups pretty frequently now.

Primary weapons are irrelevant. People got access to infinite fusion ammo again, i played like 3hours on burnout the other day after not playing trials for weeks due to ammo changes and i sht you not 80% of my deaths were fusions, anytime i died to a primary i audibly said GOOD JOB to the guy who killed me with a primary. Pvp is dead untill they bring back transmat or flat out gut fusions, thankfully untill Iggy returns or a good 140 trials is irrelevant.

It is a BIG nerf,that whole bullshit wombo combo with the melee and grenade can be done with void overall,you can use most void grenades along with the smoke to get the same results. The strand clone nerf is amazing though,it’ll still be really good against apes and if you jump away more often than not you’re able to NOT activate the clone. Overall these changes are very good,I do feel like the clone shouldn’t do any damage besides the threadlings,it’d be cool if it instead made a severing blast.

I’m sure some of you are happy this isn’t “plaguing the game” anymore But is another example of what has killed this game year over year. Game is fun, abilities are fun. Something gets abused in PvP The other 80% of the playerbase has to deal with the consequences of it being nerfed because Tommy trails ticket is fed up playing against combo x and will then complain about combo y cycle repeats. Tbh this is pretty naff. It’s really sad to see destiny die after all this time but I finally hit my apathy ceiling. I’m done with the stupid cycle. And listening to people yap about x or y gameplay thing in PvP. The whole cake is rotten. Who gives a shit if prismatic was too fun. Same people complaining about stasis not having any use. Prism Hunter has crazy map control and radar manip. A single Prism Hunter can lock down 2-4 lanes at once. I personally feel like abilities should be swapped instead of nerfed. Switch Swarm for Tripmine and maybe switch Specter for Maelstrom. (Buff Maelstrom to create a Tangle on final blows after a dodge)
