My favorite thing with Mecari is the 3-day acceptance rule. A buyer has 3 days to accept the item or ask for a return and after that, it is mostly over. Even returns are simple if something gets damaged during shipping. I sell everything on Mecari and many items I can sell at a higher price than eBay with a simple shipping setup as well. Hopefully, as they grow they will stay consistent.

On the Ebay standard envelope, the max amount is $20 for a single item and if you have multiple items, the max is then $50 (as long as each individual item is under $20). Love your videos and hope you picked up that huge deal!!!

etsy is very specific .. I actually good enough to cross list there with my antique/vintage books .... I don't put a lot there just my very high end older books because of the .20 posting fee

Mercari is growing slowly but it is growing. Ebay has been stagnant for years. Ebay has done a terrible job in bringing new people to the platform, both buyers and sellers. They have done nothing to stop the scammers (who mainly target new sellers). Mercari has catered to the casual seller so they feel more comfortable listing on their platform. In 5-10 years, Mercari has the potential to be a real player.

Etsy fees max out at 10% including cc processing. You have more control over search and promotion. But I think it takes a certain kind of merch and it takes a while for Etsy to believe you're for real. I've done pretty well with paper collectibles there. For what little I have cross-posted there, my sell-through rate is considerably higher than on eBay. I also get a little more $$ on most items there than on eBay. Not so competitive from a seller standpoint.

I tried xpost with 2000ish media items. Took 2 whole days. Yeah, always fun when the same buyers (plural) looks on multiple platforms and buys all you have listed except you only have one of said item. My perfect metrics ebay account went down to an uncomfortable amount. 4 hard dings in 5 days. Play with the devil and you get burned. Good luck when that happens. But hey, no real harm in trying.

next time your talking about ebay fees, I think its crazy they charge a fee on taxes. i had put higher percentage on a bulk lego listing and i did not realize that is on the taxes even. we do not get the taxes. Love your videos and fam.

We also crosspost to Poshmark and Etsy on occasions. It’s not necessarily time savings but organization. When something sells on one platform, it’s faster and simpler to end the listings on the other platforms.
