This is how I think of the antagonist villain thing. Shen Wulong is an antagonist. He's just going against the main characters because of his own selfish wish. Tiger Niko is a villain. He is pure evil.

I didn't come away from the Tiger Niko vs Kiryu Setsuna fight thinking that Tiger Niko isn't as strong as we thought; I came away from it thinking Kiryu Setsuna is much stronger than we think.

Niko die the opposite of what he is made out to be a developer of brute life threatening skills, he has always been a manipulator starting with 5, he fought adapt to Setsuna. Forced him to stay away from Niko katas, made him stick to the twisting attacks of his other master and what he gained from Ryuki while training him for two weeks. The ambush favored Setsuna, no Niko was not some berserker or mainly used secret Niko style, he did not event touch Formless, he got hit but those deadly techniques did not injure him. Muteba feared him that large creator in the wall made what Niko did all power based. He is a smart fighter, he can manipulate in a fight.

He most likely NOT the main villain. He just doesn’t have enough power to be. Don’t get me wrong he’s not weak or anything but he really struggle against kiryu and kiryu is not weak but he’s not in top 10 on omega, so he’s definitely stronger than Ohma but he’s well under the likes of kanoh, Gilbert, raian.

@@mysteriousweeb bro I read that fight on 3 good occasions. I know your thoughts on kiryu cause I have seen two of your other vids especially the ranking vid and how low you put kiryu. Anyhow you wanna spin it, kiryu giving nikko a high diff fight and almost killing him on several occasions put him way way above the likes of wakatsuki (and I even like wakatsuki) over the likes of fei (fei was even my best character with all his aura). Feat wise he should be around lolong, cause I didn’t even think lolong would have perfumed that well against the creature of the formless experiments and the man with the most techniques in the show.
