Republic Square: Formerly known as Santo Ovídio Square and Regeneration Field, it was renamed Republic Square after the establishment of the Republic in Portugal. This square is adorned with the Teófilo Braga Garden, which houses several impressive sculptures.
Mouzinho de Albuquerque Square: During the summer, this square turns into an amusement park and hosts popular events such as the Saints' Popular Party.
Casa da Música: An important concert venue with impressive contemporary architecture. Designed to open as part of the 'European Capital of Culture' event in 2001, Casa da Música has become an icon of the city.
Avenida da Boa Vista: Porto's longest avenue, spanning approximately 5.5 kilometers, offers a spectacular journey through the city. In addition to passing by Casa da Música, this avenue is known for housing some of the city's best restaurants and nightlife entertainment venues.
City Park: Portugal's largest urban park, covering 83 hectares of meticulously designed landscape, lakes, and rich flora and fauna. It stretches all the way to the Atlantic Ocean, making it a unique attraction in the world.
Castle of the Cheese (Castelo do Queijo): Also known as Forte de São Francisco Xavier, this seaside castle features unique architecture and played a crucial role in defending the city against invasions throughout history.
Beaches: Porto offers several beaches along the Atlantic coast, each with its unique characteristics. Matosinhos Beach is famous for its waves, while Castelo do Queijo Beach is quieter and perfect for relaxing swims.
Passeio Alegre Garden: A charming public garden with a romantic atmosphere, where a palm-lined promenade along the river provides a breathtaking panoramic view.
Tide Gauge of Foz do Douro: A historic scientific instrument located near the São Miguel-O-Anjo Chapel Lighthouse, dating back to the 16th century.
Calém Garden: A small landscaped space near the mouth of the Douro River, offering spectacular views of the river and the fishing community of Vila Nova de Gaia.
Arrábida Bridge: An iconic bridge that majestically spans the Douro River, providing spectacular views of the city and the river, especially at night.
Electric Car Museum: Located in the former Massarelos power station, the museum showcases the history of electric cars that have operated in Porto.
Porto Customs House (Alfândega do Porto): A historic building situated on the banks of the Douro River, housing exhibitions throughout the year.
Avenida dos Aliados: The heart of Porto, with the imposing City Hall building and a vibrant atmosphere that attracts residents and visitors alike.
