Cat never had this energy for zach when he kissed molly in a challenge and was not straight with Cat about feeling a connection with Molly. Cat let zach walk away from her with no explanation! Say there all quiet and runs to Whitney. Her behaviour towards scott is completely different when She started crying to scott when Sammi made a comment about her not be attractive/scott not really liking her....scott comforted her. But now she has met olum she is bitter, spiteful and comes across as very insecure. I get that there is racial bias. However Catherine has continued to be wrong and strong - continued to display ongoing insensitive mean behaviour towards Scott. Whereas, past and present villains have quickly apologised for their toxic behaviour or actions. It's not as simple as Cat being treated worse as she's black. Think about it... Medhi continued to be wrong and strong/ awful towards Whitney and therefore he was hated by the public up until he left. I get that Cat receives worse hatred for being black but she isn't helping herself at all. It's so sad about Catherine's movements. I need her to wake up and just say sorry to Scott for things not working out and be sensitive to his feelings whether she thinks he's fake or not. Catherine has zero emotional intelligence/ empathy and I'm surprised that other people in the villa haven't given her good advice about the Scott situation. Plus, it's not really true that the Casa girls didn't want Scott - that makes no sense cos I'm sure that the Casa girls would've pursued Scott if he didn't choose to be loyal to Cat, as those Casa girls are always desperate to stay in the villa. Cat's ongoing behaviour is honestly so uncomfortable to watch and she is self-sabotaging.

I want to explain something to black men but let me preface this by saying I didn’t notice Catherine’s behavior towards Andre. I love Andre, he’s so sweet, upbeat and was always happy to be with Catherine which made me happy. Black women’s behavior on twitter is them not giving AF anymore because we as a collective have been told by black men that we are not the preference, not attractive, angry, loud, ghetto etc… this is something we have experienced all of our lives, I know I have as an American, dark skin black woman, growing up was hard. Back in the day Elom would have all the support in the world from black women. Today black women are either returning the energy we always got from some black men or we’ve burned our capes. In my personal opinion black women on twitter are being colorist towards Elom. They feel okay with being colorist to him probably because black men are usually the ones colorist to us. In my opinion Elom can do better than that wannabe mean girl.

The same way the energy would be matched for an “average” female if the roles were reversed. If Elom was Ovie or Idris Elba for example, the discourse would be much different. Kojo what I will say is Catherine was never sold on Scott. She was initially excited something different nice to get the attention. Great discussion and insights. In my view the "girls" are just as bad as the "boys", and they accuse and shame the "boys" for the very same way they have behaved. Both Catherine and Ella were in couples, and Ella was even "closed off with Ty", but yet they entertained the attention of Casa boys and came back to the main villa with their new men. Where is the heat and anger for them by their peers? Double standards, I'd say. I think that Catherine was never really into Scott, in the same way she wasn't into Andre and quickly turned her attention to Zach when he "stole her", only for him to leave her for Molly! Catherine perhaps knew deep down that Scott was also not really into her - it was only a "match of convenience", until her head turned. It's nothing more than that. I agree 100%. I am always going to protect her outside of the community. Not sure 100% what the situation is. Am I the only person that doesn't understand all the Catherine hate? Yes I guess she could've handled the situation with Scott a little more delicately but the hate doesn't match the crime imo especially when theres others doing worse in her season and prior seasons. I don't think she was mean to Andre because they were coupled up for a mere 24hours before Zachariah came and made his decision and then when Andre was back in the picture he was dumped from the island and according to him they had a really good connection. She strikes me as a person that once she's getting to know someone she has tunnel vision until it's run it's course but then again according to Scott he was the one that ended it and she's like 'okay bet' lol to which he ended up regretting as he told her.(I think he was trying to take a leaf out of Tyrique's book but the difference is Ella had stronger feelings for Ty than Cat had for Scott so that backfired) There's also an unfair pattern with all her love interests that they never show her much when she's coupled up having chats but as soon as it's time for problems she gets all the air time so there's that disconnect with her and the audience like when everyone was saying she wanted a white man when she quite clearly stated on the first episode that she likes skinny dark skin men lol.

Yes it’s true that black people ESPECIALLY black women are constantly labelled & cancelled for certain behaviours. HOWEVER, the reality is WE as a people know this already and a such Catherine needed to act accordingly. And yes, she fumbled but she could have easily redeemed herself with an apology and kept it moving. That’s essentially all people expect. We don’t care for her decision to move on with Elom. The way she’s moving shows lack of empathy, emotional intelligence and accountability. We cannot compare ourselves to other races because we won’t win that debate.
