Just for clarification the lady that Charlie is romantically involved with was Harry's wife (the guy who had a heart attack and died in the 2nd movie). Billy (the one in the wheelchair) is friends with her so he was just trying to protect her at the wedding when Charlie was flirting.

The slap Jasper (Texas) recieved by the Volturi vampire (Demetri) was because they hate each other, in the books Edward wanted to kill Demetri because its like a feud between them, Demetri is the best tracker in existence, mostly many vampires hate him because he could easily find them and kill them if Aro says so, there is no place you could hide from him.

Bella basically turned super saiyan with her shield, she went from barely being able to protect one person, to being able to easily extend it to protect literally every single person with her-Which made the Vultori too afraid to attack, as their ultimate weapons were rendered completely useless by Bella

So Aro killed his own sister and put Marcus under the control of a vampire lady, who has addictive power of happiness. For over a thousands of years. Remember how Edward has been wanting to die after Bella supposedly died? Imagine that but being imprisoned and manipulated to stay alive for millenia. Death is the only thing Marcus seeks. 12:30 In books it actually didn't happen. Also most of Volturis also were just spectating people, who wouldn't join the fight. I really liked that movie added that bit as it gave the story that final fight oomph.

omg I either didn't catch at all in my several reads of the entire series about Marcus, or I just don't remember it bc this is fascinating to me, explains a LOT about his character. And also yes, I'd love to see their reaction finding out that the fight didn't even HAPPEN in the books, all that build up and it amounted to nothing lol. Although my little 14yo heart was happy that no one dies/was in danger, a bit older now I'm like... wow, there could've been a bit more thrill there! 😂

There wasn't a fight scene in the final book, but they wanted to have an epic fight scene in the movie to make fans happy. Stephanie Meyer wanted to keep the characters alive just in case she wanted to write more books about them in the future. A vision was the only way they could have the fight scene and keep all the characters alive.

They did have actual kids in all the scenes. But they wanted to have the kid actually look like the same person all the way through. So Mackenzie Foy acted every scene basically from the snow scene on in an up close 360 thing and they took those shots and baby pictures of her and used cgi to put her face on the face of the kids actually in the scene.

I think the baby was cgi because she’s half human so they made her look just that. When you think about it, you can’t get a real baby to make facial expressions and certain movements that human babies don’t make when they are first born because most babies aren’t half immortal. I think they needed the baby to be created, simply because how could they possible get a bunch of kids to look like one girl for a short time. Also there is still the addiction theme even at this stage of the movie. The automatic bond with the kid that he could not control and the fact that Belle did not even really show much concern over how her baby was and her farther. At first, still addicted to Edward.

I try to not get caught up on bad/off CGI anymore. What I try to do is weigh the pros & cons because what it comes down to is 'would I prefer &/or would it be better if they just didn't have/do/include 'x'? Or is it better that they did?'. Sometimes the technology just isn't quite there yet but the alternate option(s) of not doing it or doing it differently (ie. practically) would be way worse. I've seen the picture of the animatronic that they were using originally and that thing was a million times worse, like borderline horrifying. Another good example of off/not-so-great CGI being [spoiler-free] when the major character reveal happened at the end of the season 2 finale episode of 'The Mandalorian'. If they had just not done it because they knew people would complain that would've been a travesty for the show (for the record - I never complained but agreed it was slightly off in some instances). Granted there was another option (using a certain MCU actor that most fans are fully on board with) but after hearing the explanations as to why they went CGI for this movie, I fully agree with their choice to do so for the baby/kid. I thought I had heard somewhere before that they had combined Bella & Edward to make the look of the baby (kind of like the what would our baby look like thing where you put in 2 pictures and it makes a (really bad) prediction...but I don't remember where. I don't know that I believe it but if you're going to do a CGI face anyway it would've been a good idea.
