(Also, I will add: Not knowing too much about the game makes the watching experience even better in my opinion. You miss out on some of the Easter eggs, sure, but the twists and stuff just hit that much harder)

This is hilarious tbh. Because neither of us had seen Arcane or hardly know anything about LOL lore. Yommi is a pro at pre predictions. She was guessing that Jinx would become a villain on how she looked on the cover. Tbh we were just guessing she was the same girl on the cover art. 😂 We're still so stoked to watch more!

@Krushingreactions Acolyte is interesting only in how bad it is. The knife throwing in episode one breaks physics and the knife should've become melted metal slag that would've hit the jedi, and also the twin held the same dagger throw pose for like the entire scene for no reason. Then the fire in space. It's fire. In space. Sure. Couldn't get dumber. Then the overall writing is just abysmal. I'm sorry, I'll respect your opinion, but that show is hot garbage. I could legit point stuff out like this for an hour on ep 1 alone.

@@zephloe we respect your opinion as well, of course! We just enjoy watching stuff honestly. Whether it's good, bad, horrible, etc. If it's bad, then we just don't watch it again 😂 if it's good then it's something that has a potential playback. But, at the end of the day at least it's something everyone could talk about. Although, some of the things the cast has been saying online seem to be very questionable. But, that's a whole other thing. We enjoy Arcane far more than The Acolyte. The writing, pacing, characters, designs, etc is all far better in Arcane. That's not even up for debate. But, The Acolyte is alright...it was something new and interesting to watch.

@@Krushingreactions well if you've seen episode 3 already, you are hooked in. it only gets better. the story telling is incredible. get ready and dive in!! pay attention to every scene, there's so much layered detail. just about everything in every scene is deliberate for some reason or meaning or foreshadowing. a lot of connections to past episodes will come into play throughout the later episodes of the series, so the more you pay attention to, the more it will pay off in the end!!

Oh boy, you're in for one of the greatest love letters to video game fans, ever. This experience is one you'll always reference/come back to, I promise that. You're both intuitive and sharp, Yommi caught on to a few things I won't confirm, just yet. Just a heads up for the next season, this season was released in 3 acts, 3 episodes per act. Not a required viewing experience, but makes it hit SOOOO much harder. Enjoy! 🤍🤍

So you don't NEED to play the game to enjoy the show or know anything, but there's definitely a bunch of easter eggs for the players. I cried a lot on the first watch of the show, haha! The creators of the game got soooo much love that they actually made the show's events cannon and are currently re-working the lore to fit the new narratives, so it's exciting to know that Arcane has more potential outside of Piltover/The Undercity, which has another name but I won't give it away rn, they can literally zoom out to infinite stories. :)

This helps out a lot actually! We were wondering how we'd film it. Whether it be episode by episode or a few at a time. So, making it in 3 acts makes sense! I wish I knew more about the lore of the world of League of Legends to be honest so I could pick up more on the Easter eggs and stuff! Episode one was amazing though! We're filming/watching episodes 2 and 3 today.

If you guys enjoy the show and would like to watch the behind the scenes and learn more about the world/design, I’d highly recommend checking out their BTS series on KZbin, called ‘Bridging the Rift,’ absolutely phenomenal. Cannot praise it enough. Seeing what it took to create this made me appreciate it so much more. You seem to be heavily vested in the design/feel of the world, too! I think you guys will appreciate the BTS as well, even just as a personal watch off the channel. ☺ Sending you guys love, y’all are gonna need it for the rest of the season.
